Great, home cooked food served by excellent staff. We dropped in to the pub where we hadn't booked but we were found a table and really enjoyed our evening meal.
We wanted a quick lunch after along walk with the dog and as the sun was shining we sat outside overlooking the busy square at Helmsley. It was just what we wanted.
Had a couple of evening meals here on a short break in Helmsley. Good value for money in the early evening. Staff were friendly and service was prompt.
Enjoyed our lunch and drinks at The Feathers! A lovely warm, toasty atmosphere. Good ambience and friendly staff with good clientele. The menu offered plenty of tasty options and I was delighted with the Chicken liver pate and salad as was my husband with his Roast beef baguette. A good country market town atmosphere with decor to match. Well done!

Good atmosphere, great open fire and very good real ale served to perfection has is traditional when in Yorkshire. (And in my opinion how it should be all over the country - please take note all shandy drinkers; especially in the south who like flat beer).
