We love Helmsley and decided to pay another visit, stopping once again for lunch at this lovely cafe. After looking at the excellent menu we both decided on the soup. I had the vegetable (which came with a big chunk of wholemeal bread) and my husband had sweet potato & pepper along with a BLT sandwich. This was an excellent... More

Helmsley has a lot to offer the day visitor, but we were nearing the end of our cyce ride and needed to warm up with tea and cake. The service was just right, and the cheese scone & very generous fruit cake were delicious. Yorkshire tea to add the right accompaniment made this a very relaxing, warming, tasty stop-off.

This little coffee shop was really nice and i enjoyed coming here. I have to say the food was delicious but the Deluxe Hot Chocolate was the best hot chocolate i have ever had in my life! It was also nice as the dog was allowed downstairs. The service was really good and i would love to come here again... More

Lovely warm welcome, great food and best of all the dog was allowed in downstairs, a huge bonus on a damp day, he was even given his own bowl of water. Would thoroughly recommend this cafe

Although the premises are very small, the welcome is huge and the the service friendly. The waiter and waitress are both chatty and a mine of local information. We liked it so much, we made a point of going each day of our stay. My caramel mocha was probably the best I have tasted. Instead of chocoate dust sprinkled on... More
