A family group of 10 of us dined at The Emmott Arms to celebrate Tom's flying visit from Japan, securing a teaching position later this year in Lancashire. The service was as always friendly and perfectly timed. The food was amazing, I started with the Mussels which I have to say are without doubt THE BEST I have ever had... More

Called Friday lunch time with my wife and two others . Except for one other gentleman we were the only one's in . Visited at lunchtime after reading reviews.very friendly staff and a good range of beers . Food was excellent and well-priced. Highlight was the log fire-most welcome on a cold snowy day. Nice to be in a real pub as opposed to some of the more recent "manufactured " eateries

We have become frequent visitors of this pub and every time it is just perfect - from the roaring fire to the friendly staff, and of course the amazing food. We love it! A great place for any occasion or just to get out of doing the washing up! ;)

We dine here frequently and are never disappointed. The staff are friendly and always greet you when you walk in. The menu is varied to cater for all tastes. With various ales and lagers to choose from at a reasonable price and a relaxing atmosphere what more would you want. Oh, and the prawn cocktail is the best ever.
