Great for combining an evening meal with shopping

Fish and chips cooked to perfection. Lovely light batter and beautiful white haddock.Prompt service with a smile from all the staff. Great for refuelling whilst shopping. There is also a take away for anyone not wishing to dine in and healthy options for anyone trying to eat more healthily.

Great fish and chips. Good service. Friendly staff. Good cup of tea. It was really too much for one person so I would in future have the children's portions. I left the chips too many. Very good value and quality , may I suggest that the screens showing the dishes are a good idea but the photography is awful. Although... More

Had fish & chips and M & P pie and chips from takeaway.. Getting quite expensive with fish now at £3.80p and pie at £2.60p. Food now served in cardboard trays which are much smaller then the polystyrene trays. This now means the fish are a lot smaller-used to overlap the polystyrene trays-now sit easily into the smaller cardboard trays. Food... More

I have visited Banny's several times a year since it opened as I live fairly local to this venue. This evening I was disappointed by both the quality of the food and the service I received. The food was extremely greasy and hard to eat because of this. None of the staff asked what we thought of the food and... More

A quiet teatime, but the staff were chatting rather than looking after customers. Training should include teaching staff to constantly look to see if customers have additional requirements. We were asked at the end of our meal, which was too late. We would have liked either a pot of hot water with the pot of tea, or would have paid... More
