Old fashoned pub..

After a walk around Teignmouth we decided to drop anchor in the Ship. Wow, what a laid place it is, very friendly staff, with brilliant views. The beer is also great (as is most of Devon!!!). Overhaul a great place...

Great pub in teignmouth, only small but usually half full at least every time that I have been in. Great food, slightly more expensive than the typical weatherspoons but is much better quality for value. If you are a couple they also have a menu where 2 can dine 2 courses for £15, this is defiantly something to look at... More

The food was lovely , hot and served at the same time, I especially liked that they served all the children first, good move in my book. The staff double checked the order, served it all brilliantly , and accommodated the celebration cake, plates etc smoothly .flutes were supplied for the champagne, I couldn't fault any of it, but I... We often enjoy baguettes or other snacks overlooking the sea but last night we wanted a meal to finish... More

The Ship Inn is tucked away in town with views up the river Teign. It is a cosy pub popular with the locals, serving traditional ales. Worth a visit.

On our holidays in Devon at finlake holiday park, the ship inn was in there brochure, we travelled 30mins to get there, we had a 3yr old & 10yr old with us, we were told & it states that this is a family pub, I booked in advance & we decided to be seated downstairs as we felt the atmosphere... We were planning to visit Darts Farm for fish and chips, however, a sudden day of unexpected sunshine suggested a plan B was called for. Sitting on Back Beach we chose to eat at The Ship and could not believe our luck when we looked at the specials board and found two amazing options, cod and trout pie and lamb... More
