Really disappointed with tonight's meal. What a waste of £50. Usually spot on but tonight prawns served with all their eggs attached which wasn't stated in the menu. Couldn't eat them and had to pay extra to have something different. Staff not very useful as said he would see would he could do but didn't do anything, paid for two... More

Excellent location, especially in the nice weather, unfortunately spoilt by bad service, as we were served by a rude barmaid.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal in the upstairs section of the pub. Though a little too dark (it was quite hard to read the menu), the service was earnest and efficient and the mussels in particular, the best I have ever tasted anywhere. Good value for money and a really fun, atmospheric place to eat.

Just a normal eatery by the water. To crowded with holiday makers, noisy for us, food good but average

Visited on September 7th for lunch. The weather was gorgeous so we sat outside overlooking the small harbour. Scampi and chips at £8.95 seemed a little expensive but the food was gorgeous. So fresh. Judging by the amount of locals also eating there, this must be a Teignmouth favourite and rightly so.

visited thurs evening (4th sep) for first time. lovely views & atmosphere on outside terrace. drinks & food ok, but spolit by rude barmaid; no greeting, aggressive manner, no please & thank-you's, etc. it wasn't over busy so perhaps we were just unlucky.

Fantastic food served in a quick time, fantastic service & a superb location for alfresco drinking or eating whilst watching the sunset over the river & moors. The music festival in August is great too! A no nonsense, traditional happy pub!!

Ate upstairs on a cold wet August evening. Staff welcoming and friendly. Had steak and ale pie which was delicious. My son and granddaughter had fish and chips which were polished off with lots of positive comments. My husband had spicy chicken breast which he was not so keen on and hence only 4 stars. Would liked to have experienced... More

Walk back in time, you can taste the salt from the sea lapping the shore not far from the door, hear the twang of the locals talking and drinking cider.....you can smell....the drains today phew, a bit of a problem going on.....but sit harbour side with a drink watch the boats and the world go by, sun lowering over the...
