Great little pub

Real character, in the most popular spot in the evenings, tables sit on the beach, harbour side. Drink and food is great, the sunsets up the river are to die for. A busy place with locals and visitors, but if in Teignmouth you must try it out..

I came here on a recommendation from my hotel, but rather wished I had chosen the Crab Shack next door. Having been told this was the place for fish, I was disappointed to see only two dishes on the menu. I chose whole Sea Bass on a bed of samphire. Whilst there was a generous mound of samphire on the... More

A must visit! I had the crab pasta which was lush and my husband had pie with home cooked yummy chips! We will return and do recommend the place. Everything clean and welcoming. We have a baby who was also welcomed!

We stumbled on this restaurant after looking for a sea view to sit and have lunch and were not disappointed my boyfriend had the starter of mussels which he said were plentiful and delicious then the piri piri chicken breast with chips again delicious I myself had the crab pasta which was far too big but yummy I would definitely... On a sunny day this pub is fine for a drink due to its location but don't be tempted to eat here as the food served to me looked like it had been prepared by a four year old. It was also far to expensive for what you end up with on your plate. If your hungry go elsewhere or... More

Came here for a lunchtime meal with family. The menu was very overpriced, so got the chicken pops and fries off the specials board, what a let down ! Had 5 very small pieces of chicken and a handful of undercooked fries ! Very poor was like a kids portion. Nice view if your sat out the back though.

Great cossy pub with a nice veiw of the estuary. Good food and very reasonable prices. Service was good both at the bar and the waiter. Would come here again for a good honest pub grub Dave Hertfordshire

As long as its not raining a superb pub to buy a pint and drink outside watching the world go by. Table and seats provided. Decent drink and a go view of the back beach
