A little slice of foodie heaven

Fully booked at 7pm at the beginning of the season says it all!! Fantastic food, clever menu and dishes - taste and texture a plenty. Friendly staff and generally a great experience. Well worth it, we'll be back here for sure!

Our family stayed at Kota for one night and sampled the early bird menu. The family room was comfortable and clean, and we loved the unironic 80s decor. The restaurant was fantastic. Beautiful food and excellent, friendly service. A perfect introduction to fine dining for our 11 year old! Breakfast was relaxed and friendly. The hot smoked salmon and scrambled... More

My husband and I stayed with friends in Porthleven for a short break. We wanted a restaurant within walking distance. Kota was certainly that, and met our high expectations from having seen previous diners' reviews. Everything a good restaurant should be: warm welcome; attentive but not overbearing staff; excellent menu (at very affordable prices for the very high quality enjoyed);... More

We ate there again last weekend and enjoyed beautifully cooked chowder, mussels, fish and chips and their signature trio of duck. The meal was complemented by an appetising amuse bouche, was accompanied by some lovely speciality bread... More

We hosted friends from London. The menu was impressive and the food was delicious, though typically small yet expensive portions. This was offset by the occasion and ambiance.

The setting and ambience we experienced was superb. The creativity of the Asian fusion menu was stunning and we thank you for extending our taste buds. Good luck with all your future activities.
