GREAT CATALAN Cusine

Passed by the restuarant on a very cold winter night and thought it looks nice and cosy to have our late dinner there. True to my first impression, we order the typical catalan soup (Escudella), delicious and hot to keep us warm. They served us in a big pot so we can have more helpings if we want... read more

Wonderful place, service and food. My only regret is not having been there at lunch time so as to taste the infamous "calçotada" from this region. I guess I will just have to come back for that!

Just been back here for our third visit over the years. The views are stunning (ask for a table near the window or on the terrace in the summer) - you can literally see for miles. We have had the calcotada menu in the past which is one of the best and so close to the area famous for the... More

We just wanted to get any lunch at 3.30 p.m. on our rainy way to Monblanc. And it turned out our best memory of Spain holidays. The first and unforgettable experience of calcots with delicious souce, great artichokes, huge plate of escargots and fantastic patatas bravas. And we can add breathtaking views to half of Catalonia. Friendly service. Nice interior... More

For me there are three excellent restaurants in the area where to eat calçots and this is my second choice. Excellent calçots and very good sauce. Good lamb and botifarra. Very well done artichokes. Quality proposals of cava and wine inclusive in the "menu de calçots". Attentive service and nice location with superb views from the mountain. Menú de calçots... More

Its a tiny restaurant at the top of a twisty winding road that serious drivers could work up a thirst on. The staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. You definitely have to book ahead as they're almost always full. If you can get there in the spring you have to try the calcatades. It's a traditional... More
