We recently lunched at Casamar and had a simply wonderful time. We found the service to be excellent, the maître d' deserves a special mention as she couldn't do enough for us, including looking into getting a boat to take us home. Also testament to the quality of service upon ordering the 7 course tasting menu they offered an alternative... More

A place to avoid. We tried the tasting menu. Experimental - yes. Good food - in no way. The worst dish was a soggy fish dish, which I think was the one who gave two out of three a food poisoning. Also, very snorky service. Especially from the sommelier.

We we here as two families with small kids, a bit worried that we would not fit in.However, the service was fantastic, towards kids as well as adults. We shared one of the Lunch tasting menues and had some unforgettable starters. The wine list is more than decent, and we were impressed with one of the local wines recommended by... More

We had the new lunch summer tasting menu. We had tried to book for Dinner but they had no reservations and we could only get a booking for lunch. We had an amazing table over looking the sea, with spectacular views. We asked the sommelier to match our tasting menu with some local wine recommendations. ( all reasonably priced) It... More

Booked a table at this Michelin-starred restaurant, part of Hotel Casamar, a couple of weeks before we left home. Our table, on the terrace, overlooked the bay at Llafranc. The 6 (or 7) course tasting menu was delightful, beautifully served and very good value (less than 200 euros including a good bottle of wine and service). Highly recommended, and I... More

Went here for dinner last night - special occasion my birthday. It was fabulous, everything from the food, the service, choice of wines on their extensive listing, not to mention the surroundings and an amazing view. 10/10 you have to try it.

Surprised to find this one-star in this sleepy town. They plied us with amuse-bouche before we ordered and service was excellent (they suggested a great wine to go with dinner). The tuna tartar and the special seafood paella were stand outs.

We had a lovely lunch at the restaurant. We focused on seafood dishes and every dish was beautifully executed, creative, and highlighted the high quality ingredients used. Presentation was beautiful, and the service went beyond our expectations. My husband and I like to share food and we typically just swap plates half way through a dish. At Casamar, when we... More

We've eaten here a couple of times. It is very good food, very minimal and rich, a little went a long way, but it is interesting and unusual. The setting is of course beautiful. I found the service a little too precious for my taste, they were slow to top up my water and I was virtually frowned at when... More

Expensive, but in my view worth it. Have eaten here many times, and its always the same very high standard of both food and service. Very high standard of presentation as well as good use of quality ingredients Wine list is excellent as well, with many local wines as well as a wide range of Spanish quality wines. Remember to...
