Beautiful little spot right beside the sea

Delicious fresh seafood on offer with good selection of wines. Tables are a little close together outside so be warned especially if you are planning a romantic date. Would recommend booking in advance - we were there mid September when the season was winding down and it was still busy... read more

We saw the queue outside this restaurant and thought this must be a good sign- it was! The food was wonderful and service excellent. We had the gaspacho with the very unusual addition of tomato ice cream, excellent and original! I also had the cod loin with a seafood broth sauce with rice noodles which looked as good as it... Ate here 21st September. On the seafront. Sardines excellent though at euro 11 they should have been. Vast serving of cod, beautifully cooked. Calamar on the Plancha good (although have to totally incompetent as a chef to muck that one up). Tuna tataki (tataki is ubiquitous now in all restaurants around here) was good too. Total bill for 4 was... More

Very pleasant restaurant right on the seafront with plenty of other diners to give it a lively atmosphere. Ok menu , don't expectto find anything exceptional, exciting or different. Sardines 11€ with "chips" 3.75€. The only surprise was the addition of 5.20€ on the bill which, on enquiry, was apparently for bread which we had neither ordered nor eaten. The... More

We stayed a week in Llafranc and the meal here was a real highlight. It was very busy and bustling (advise you book in advance) however they also gave really excellent service. We loved the menu, the sangria was top notch and the black ink paella an absolute treat and truly memorable. This will be at the top of our... More

Really enjoyed our paella, which was delicious and was obviously nice to be sitting outside with a beautiful view of the beach too.

We had a great evening meal here as a family. The place is always really busy but the service is so excellent that you don't have to wait. The menu was excellent with traditional Catalan food. My husband ordered scallop carpaccio but it wasn't to his taste so he left it. When the waiters noticed his full plate, they absolutely... More

My wife, my 86 year mother and I visited La Llagosta Restaurant on 3 June for an evening meal. We all started with a large plate amongst us of cockles cooked in a tomato sauce. The women then shared a cauldron of suquet (Catalan fish stew, based on monkfish), and I had "arroz negro", or black rice. This had various... More

We ate here day one in llafranc and food was generally good, service a bit gruff but acceptable but at least the wine was very good. However, came back day two, only to be shouted at twice by the waiter (red haired young male) because we had the temerity to sit down at one of the many free tables. We... More
