We arrived to a nice welcome, we took up the offer of bread. We received some bread, bowl of marrowfat beans and dip, we left the marrowfat beans and from this point the owner became very rude. Whilst my husband was at the toilet he came and moved my wine glass (that I was using to drink his wine) back... More

We took friends to thus little restaurant & not having been ourselves were unsure what we would find. We found a charming little restaurant with only 7 tables, on different levels, really quaint. The owner was very friendly & can speak English if your Spanish is not too good, all the wine is local and the good was very good,... More

This little restaurant is hidden away in the middle of the beautiful old town of San Miguel. It was formerly the village Post Office and is a lovely huddle of little rooms and knooks and crannies. The foood ranges from authentic tapas to main courses. Most of the dishes are authentic Canarian and largely based on locally sourced ingredients. We... More

Convenient to where we were staying at La Bodega, this small friendly place opens off the narrow street, and is closed on Tuesdays. There is car parking round the corner. There is a good choice of local dishes, with goat, rabbit and fish on offer. No complaints. Quite steep steps up and down.

We have visited this restaurant now three times and plan to go again. Solomillo was good, though slightly overcooked so I am not giving excellent, but grilled liver with caramellisized onions was just super. Friendly speedy service, this is a definate MUST.

Returned here with my wife following a group visit last year and again thoroughly enjoyed it. You will be very patiently guided through the menu. An authentic Canarian variety of tapas and full courses. Again we ate a few veg which were new to us and tried a few recommended dishes all washed down with some local wine. Just a... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Cozy restaurant and friendly staff. Lots of choice of Canarian food on the menu and especially the chicken was very tasty. We have eaten here twice. All plates were very tasteful. Highly recommended.

Worth a detour (corresponding to two stars in Guide Michelin). During a week on Teneriffa we enjoyed three nights at this extraordinary restaurant with a large menu of canarian specialities, cooked delicately and served nicely. Additionally, it is price worthy.

The waiter suggested we try a variety of their Canarian dishes, which was a brilliant idea, so our party of four had a taste of many different dishes. Not sure I'd have gone for things like bananas & bacon, but actually tasted delicious. Definitely worth visiting whilst in San Miguel.

Lovely Canarian dishes, and good local house wine. The portions are generous, so we opted after several visits to order one main course between two, which was accepted happily by Nino. Not expensive, and very good value indeed.
