This hotel-restaurant was a very interesting and illuminating experience during my stay in Tenerife. Unlike most places I have stayed in before, this hotel was the nearest thing to the feeling of staying with friends who have a very comfortable, well equipped and beautiful house. I have to stress the word illuminating because the hotel was full of personal belongings... More

The food was good and well priced. The waitress wasnt the freindliest I have met, communication was an issue, but we got there in the end. Recommended.

We ate here on the last day of our holiday and will certainly go back next Christmas . The staff were lovely and the food excellent, local produce including goat and rabbit. Would love to be there in the summer to eat in the courtyard. Very relaxing and laid back. A must for people who enjoy proper food.

A jolly, genuinely friendly owner/host, a gorgeous cellar stocked with local wine and delicacies and a pretty courtyard make for a rather pleasant way to spend an evening. We've had slightly better main dishes (at Ninos, for example) but for ambience it wins hands down. Can heartily recommend the regional cheese, the local wine and the morcilla sausage pinchitos.

This place had no wine list! I was taken instead to a little wine cellar next door with a selection of wine with no prices. Absolutely weird. When we somehow ended up with some wine, it was very pleasant and we only paid for what we drank (half of a full bottle) so credit for that. The food was somewhat... More

Authentic food and finest canarian wine. With the lady chef in the kitchen and the friendly host. Cosey outside patio with a romantic flavour in the evening.

Friendly and efficient service, good value too. Some local specialties were available. A very different menu to most Tenerife establishments.

An authentic Canarian restaurant in San Miguel de Abona that is off the tourist track and very different but wonderful atmosphere. Not easy to find so I asked two policia local coming out of a bar to be told "20 metros a derecha". The food and local wines are all good, competitively priced and inlude dishes you will not find... We had 2 dinners here and 1 lunch and enjoyed all of them. The food was really good, especially the cod and squid. The local wine was excellent and the service was good.

What a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday night out! We tried the local cuisine and we were not disappointed. The 'ropa vieja' starter, a kind of meat and chickpea stew, was unusual and delicious, while the rabbit and chicken dishes went down well as our mains. We enjoyed a very local wine, Mencey, with the meal and were impressed... More
