An authentic Canarian restaurant in San Miguel de Abona that is off the tourist track and very different but wonderful atmosphere. Not easy to find so I asked two policia local coming out of a bar to be told "20 metros a derecha". The food and local wines are all good, competitively priced and inlude dishes you will not find... We had 2 dinners here and 1 lunch and enjoyed all of them. The food was really good, especially the cod and squid. The local wine was excellent and the service was good.

What a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday night out! We tried the local cuisine and we were not disappointed. The 'ropa vieja' starter, a kind of meat and chickpea stew, was unusual and delicious, while the rabbit and chicken dishes went down well as our mains. We enjoyed a very local wine, Mencey, with the meal and were impressed... More

We had eaten here a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the visit so took some 'first timers' back to enjoy the atmosphere. Since we had been last they had opened a small hotel on site to complement the bar and restaurant, and this seemed to be a profitable move. Menu was based around local produce and food was... More

While staying in nearby Golf Del Sur decided to go for a drive to San Miguel and have something to eat there. Came across what we thought was a bar until we spoke to a friendly couple who said they were staying there and highly recommended the restaurant, they recommended well! The restaurant was not too large and had a... More

Lovely tucked away restaurant we found by accident. A very quaint courtyard with beautiful bouganvillia and cacti, even a little spring in the corner. Sat in the courtyard and the service was very good but not too full on. Had a variety of food from the menu and ate till we couldn't move. Especially recommend the ropa vieja, the pâté... More

I am quite reluctant to recommend this restaurant - as I want to keep it a secret just for myself! I love it. We have been on a couple of occasions now whilst visiting Tenerife and wondered if it was going to be as good this year. No problems there - it was, and actually it was better if that's... More

From the outside the 4 Esquinas in San Miguel looks like a normal, homey but not overly exciting tapas place and restaurant - but looks are quite deceiving...it's definitely way better than average, outclassing most of the other eateries we encountered at Tenerife. Located around a very charming courtyard with a spilling bougainvillae the restaurant offers outdoor dining, but features... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Cozy courtyard and friendly staff. Lots of choice on the menu and especially the appetizers are very tasty. We have eaten here twice and one evening just ordered some appetizers so we had our own tapas meal. Were all very tasteful. Highly recommended
