met at the door by fear an ti , Immediate service , including good advice on menu. Fillet steak with caramelised onion is very popular and was chosen by three of our guests. Leg of lamb was well cooked and garnished with fresh vegetables. Would prefer no gravy poured over the lamb but left on a side dish. Chef checked... More

We went for dinner which was arranged by our travel company. They had setup a menu of I think it was €35 where we could choose from 3 starters and 3 main courses. Looking at the normal menu I could see that it was pretty much the same as every other restaurant in Puerto Rico. I had the vegetable soup... More

El Gaitero is what i would call a standard but nice holiday restaurant. The menu is huge, as to make sure everyone eats. Price wise it is middle of the road, not... More

We actually were going to the Italian place next door, but because it was full we ended up with El Gaitero. The owner and staff are all nice. Although the place was almost packed, enough waiters around and we did not had to wait a long time for our main course. We had chateau briand and the kids had steak... More

My girlfriend and I had our first meal of the holiday, and we liked it so much we came back again. The place is always busy, however the service is always spot on. The steaks are always cooked to perfection and how you want them. The also make a mean sangria and Irish Coffee

We like to eat at different restaurants but had to return to this one as it was so good. The Fillet steak was amazing. Excellent service. Highly recommended!

We were convinced to come in by the man outside who was very nice, unfortunately that was the most pleasant part of the evening. My partner ordered croquettes for starter which were nice, I had garlic bread which was ok but again you cant really go too far wrong with garlic bread. My partner ordered a sirloin steak medium to... More

In 14 days ate here 5 times, that says it all. They say when you go for a meal it should be like going to a show, well here it is. Amazing food, great service and the side shows of dishes being presented from salt crusted sea-bass, flambe desserts and liqueur coffee seeing is believing. Enjoy, well worth the steps... More
