Italian Food

Arrived late so decided to go to one of the close restaurant's and we chose this one. We got a pepperoni pizza and a lasagne. The pizza was very good but the lasagne was ok. The staff were also very nice and welcoming.

We stopped here for a pizza one evening and it was spot on. Thin and crispy and piping hot. The great thing is that unlike pizza houses in the UK, its one simple size, not deep pan stodge, no enormous heart attack sized portions and the toppings are quality.

I really loved my pizza here, it was thin, crispy and tasty. However, my boyfriend had a chicken dish which was just awful and ruined the meal a little as he was so disappointed. The chicken pieces were rubbery and small, the sauce tasteless and the Parma ham overcooked. We then had an icecream / pancake affair which was also... More

During our recent family holiday we visited La Mattina for a late lunch, The restaurant was quiet, so we were waited on quickly. The food arrived in a timely manner and was all hot and fresh (something that annoys me at a lot of restaurants I visit when traveling is when hot food arrives warm instead of hot) We were... More

We tried this little Italian after advice about homemade pizza/pasta and it did not dissapoint. Wonderful. Staff are really lovely, food very authentically Italian and a great position being only a short walk from the Marina. A shame it gets lost a little beneath the big steakhouses above it, as this is a little gem of a restaurant I highly... More

Spent several lovely evenings here. Excellent value for money. Food is really good & staff very friendly. What I really like is they do not hassle you to eat they allow you to choose not like the guy next door that got upset if you don't go in. Highly recommend

Excellent restaurant for quality. I had a mushroom ravioli and my wife had the chicken with asparagus and pesto. Both dishes were of a very high standard and the service was excellent. Worth a visit!

It was our first night & we all fancied pasta. We thought this was going to be an average meal but we were pleasantly surprised by the fresh ingredients. The Bruchetta was freshly homemade, the pasta with chicken, asparagus & house pesto was to die for. We also got take away pizza another night which was well worth the wait... More

Be warned of location! Trip advisor map is completely wrong this place is actually in central commercial las olas. My girlfriend and I are staying at the top of the eastern mountain in Puerto rico and it's definitely a taxi ride away. Only 3-4 euros though, just ask for Las Olas. You'll find it in a very quiet cluster of... More
