Bit of a mixed review about this place. I can't see why it's so high on the TA list to be honest. The food wasn't bad as such. The garlic mussels were nice but overpowered by tarragon. The King Prawns in special sauce turned out to be a watery onion and cream sauce. Not great but the prawns were well... More

Decided to try after reading reviews on tripadvisor. You'll find the restaurant down by the harbour (to the left) They found us a table immediately and the lady (owner) came and asked us if we were wanting the fresh fish then talked us through the availability. My son & husband both chose the Grouper fish. I had salmon and my... More

Absolute the best service in the whole puerto rico. Always a hug and the food is splendid. I love this restaurant, and Dessi, Stani, Jimmy and all the others are always at your service. The restaurant is a hidden pearl of Puerto Rico, worth a try. To you all, try it, you won, t be disapointed.

We ate here 3 times during our 10 night stay in Puerto Rico and I wish we had eaten here more. The staff are excellent, Stanis, Diana and Aritz all welcomed us with great warm smiles. The food is something else. Fresh fish of the day we had on 2 visits which was blue marlin, dorado, grouper all cooked beautifully... More

The four of us had dinner here. 3 of us had white marlin (catch of the day) it was nice but nothing outstanding as many otter reviews suggest. Certainly not beter then some otter restaurants with similar price level we visited this holliday in Arguineguin or Patalavaca

I'm lamented your disappointment! Especially when it comes for the fresh fish! The marlin is one of the tastiest blue fish ! I have guests visiting the restaurant, especially for the fresh fish! But for taste, there is nothing in writing! Everyone is different! More

I am not a big seafood specialist, but I had the chefs special which was grilled Tuna with soy sauce cooked on a bed of seaweed, i can recommend this as it was superb. They also have steaks and pasta as well so caters for all.

We visited based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. We chose a variety of grilled meat and fish, with one child opting for a pizza and all four of us were delighted with the flavours. Had we gone earlier in the week we would certainly have been tempted back again. What's more the service was excellent, with real... More

I visited the restaurant last night with my mum and sister. We were seated and brought over a platter of the fresh fish they had that day, including sea bass, sea bream and red snapper, so we could see what was available. My mum chose the sea bass and I went for the calamari. As my sister is vegetarian she... More

Grill Costa Mar never fails to impress us as a family. Dessi & Jimmy run a great restaurant with a lovely team of staff to back them up. My parents were celebrating their wedding anniversary & we had a fresh bouquet of flowers & a bottle of bubbly upon arrival, lovely touch. The fish soup is amazingly good as is... More
