We have been visiting Minanas several times the last four years. We have always had a very nice experience and a fantastic meal. The staff is very personal giving this restaurant a special feeling. The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm, nice and relaxing. Some of the bad reviews are obviously given by people who did not behave... And the food... More

Fantastic restaurant. Lived next door and found this small place purely through TripAdvisor. Had sallad with prawns and goat cheese as starter and the duck as mains. Fantastic presentation and really nice taste. Top of the line in small Puerto Rico. Worth the effort to get away from the centre.

Minanas is a fine restaurant just under the Castillo de sol staff are very friendly and attentive food is very nice , but if you decide to pay a visit you should book in advance as it can be very busy sometimes

Yes, the place is cosy and the staff friendly but the food itself wasn't anything special. After our dining experience, we can't believe Minanas is ranked #2 in Puerto Rico. Everything we ate was strange, salty, and/or over-cooked. Maybe our unhappy meal was due to the good people of Minanas simply having a bad day?

We visited this place after seeing such good reviews on trip advisor. Saving it until the last night of our holidays we wanted something extra special. It was nice but still cannot see why this would be rated number 2 on trip advisor as we feel there are better restaurants in the resort that are cheaper with the same quality... More

We visit this restaurant every year not only for the food but also the friendly staff. The food is always top notch and the cosy home-like feel of the restaurant is great. The lamb chops were my favourite and the Paco y Lola wine has to be tried. Keep up the good work Peter y Juan!

4 courses menu was quite expensive (56 €/pax), but it included flamenco show later in the evening. Cosy restaurant stands some blocks from the city center on the hill. Staff tried much, I must say even too much. Atmosphere was somehow tensed. Food was quite okey, but venison as a main course was perfect.

This is a small restaurant with a sort of eccentric atmosphere that makes it an interesting place to visit, very different from everything else on the island. The duck was amazing, and the tiramisu was amazing.
