We reserved to eat in the restaurant where we had eaten a few years ago, but now they have divided what used to be the restaurant and made it into a restaurant with restaurant service and menu and a bar with table service, tapas and raciones. We opted to try the bar tables as the menu offers more variety. Everything... More

I had one of the top 5 breakfasts in my life. The selections at each station were bountiful and what impressed me the most was the lady who made my omelet that morning. She was full of life and happy to make you breakfast. It made me feel special. This was a rare treat.

The hotel is fabulous, the staff out of this world, the location perfect, but.... the restaurant lacking and somewhat lacking at that. Just not what one would expect. Oh yea, if you do eat her and you decide to tip your server on your credit card, know this, the house keeps all tips on credit cards and gives nothing to... More

Dear CLient, Thank you for your comments. We are glad that you liked our Hotel and restaurant. About your comment of the tips, the tips are for the waiters and people in the kitchen, but if the tip comes in the credit card, they get that money at the end of the month, until administration has controled it. Thank you... More

The Duque is probably one of the top two all around resort Beach Hotels in the area. It offers the highest quality food and Beachfront Hotel services in Rota. It's location is prime to where the action and entertainment happens all summer long. The prices are right and the service is second to none. This is the place where singles... More

I decided to have lunch inside here on a recent visit to Rota, Spain. Dining by myself the waiter setated me at the front of the restaurant and showed me the English portion of the menu. Though there were several selections I was surprised to finally have to settle on Sea Bass with Aspargus as there was not a lot... More

Although El Embarcadero is part of the hotel Duque de Najera, the main entrance is from the street, with more of a feel of an upmarket independent restaurant. We had lunch there twice and dinner once, and on all three occasions the food was delicious and the service impeccable. The view from the outside terrace isn't great, being so close... More

This was our most disappointing meal on our recent trip, and quite at odds with the glowing reviews. Maybe they had an off day. All I can is that our fish of the day for two was amazingly average and quite expensive, the jamon on toast I couldn't eat, and the soup that my wife ordered (and recommended by the... More

As we were staying in the hotel for 5 nights, we eat here on two evenings. Excellent food with friendly efficient service. Recommended to those who enjoy a smart restaurant. An extensive menu to choose from, and a good choice of wines as well. Most certainty worth a visit.

This was one of the best meals we had in Spain. This restaurant is part of hotel Duque de Najera and situated at the end of the road before the Atlantic. It was a comfortably warm spring afternoon and we looked out on the Atlantic and a fishing fleet. The menu was varied with much seafood. Our meal began with... More
