If you look up "The Butcher of Panzano" on the internet, you will be directed to some UTube videos of Dario, The Butcher giving a demonstration of butchering a pig. His wife who speaks English gives the commentary. He is passionate about his trade that has been in his family for generations and expresses his love of using ALL of... More

I had a bad experience. They put you in a big room with a long table and serve meat.. The meat was not good and at the and of the meal they send you in an other room for coffee.. They use the drip coffee maker, not the machine that is used at the coffee bar. A truly tourist trap.... More

Thus is a unique dinner unlike the average trattoria, Osteria, or whatever casual dining experience we had on Italy. The enterprise is committed to filling you with parts of the steer otherwise not readily consumed and or in preparations unfamiliar to the norm of family dining. We shared a table for 14 with another party of two and eventually a... More

We were disappointed in our experience at Solo Ciccia -- our end of the table had an obnoxious assortment of people, so that was not particularly fun. The concept of tasting multiple parts of the cow was intriguing but many of them were not very tasty, tough, etc. We might have fared better trying one of the other two Dario... More

A fun concept executed well. Nicely designed place. Common table makes for an awkward but fun experience with other diners. At the end of the day, if you're a meat lover, and you're in the area, you gotta hit this place up!

I experienced with my family one of the best burger . Great service great location great food. Dario is a great host and for an American it has been a great and positive surprise.

The name of this restaurant in Panzano, Italy translates to "only meat" and that's what they serve. The most popular butcher shop in Italy, it actually is two restaurants and a butcher shop. One restaurant serves just that, only meat. Grilled meats of every type from the owners own ranch. You have to get reservations for this experience well in... More

We went there for Sunday lunch in the first week of May. Book the lunch after seeing the review from the forum on the internet and we were not disappointed at all. We sat at a communal table with a group from the States and a lovely couple from Florence. The setting encouraged you to meet people from else where... More

Three of us visited this restaurant for Sunday Lunch. We were seated in a small room at a large table with six others.. two fellow Americans and four Italians. The room was also used to refill wine and water carafes and to pass items through window to the kitchen. The waitress we had delivered each dish with flourish and a... More

Solo Ciccia came highly recommended from several friends who had been in the last few years. If you like meat and a 'family' dining experience this is a restaurant you cannot miss in Panzano. We arrived early so we started in the butcher shop across from the restaurant with Chianti and a sample of meats and cheeses as an appetizer.... More
