Excellent food , service wines and atmosphere- nested in the historic village of Panzano this is a special place. Unlike the Popul;ar Dario Checcini's all meat ristrorante, this restaurant has an excellent menue from antipasto to dolce. Not too be missed.

The walk up the hill is worth it. I had a very tasty pumpkin flan followed by tortelloni with potatoes and mushrooms- delicious. To top it off I had semifreddo. Great meal, friendly service. Worth a visit

This restaurant is family owned and operated. Service was superb. The food was excellent. Whether you ordered a salad, an appetizer, main course or dessert, the meal was delicious. Make sure you find your way to this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Melt in the mouth pasta, sooo delicious. One of the dishes our party of 5 had, was the potato tortelli with meat ragu. The pasta of this dish was delicate, yet firm, melted in the mouth, no hint of chewiness at all, just scrumptious, and the filling and accompanying ragu delicate and flavoursome. Incredibly good! Although we had many excellent... More

Family run spot with fresh, regional and seasonal food. When in Tuscany eat meat like the Tuscans do. Transformed me from medium to medium rare. So good, so homey, unbelievable local mushroom and potato soup to die for. Best meal yet.

We did not book a table but were welcomed in with open arms. The small restaurant was very homely and the staff were very friendly. The menu was small but had great choices. We enjoyed potato ravioli and the saffron rissotto, followed by 2 delicious desserts paired with some grappa! Very reasonably priced and we would come back again :-)

Nice family run place in an old olive oil factory in the old quarter of Panzano. Good local food, nothing fancy, with a nice friendly staff.

We were in Cantinetta Sassolini twice over a period of 5 days. The food was tasty, and fresh the place very cozy and the service very friendly. Best Osso Buco and best Tiramisu I've had in a long time. The owner is very caring and super vigilant and it shows. Definitely recommended.
