Really fresh, authentic super tasty food. There is a lot of love put into these recipes and the waitstaff are so friendly. Such a wonderful experience, can't wait to go back!

Lovely little restaurant in Panzano. Friendly service and good food - especially the Florentine crepes! One of the better places we've been in Chianti and although there quite a few tourists it felt very authentic.

Went early on a Wednesday evening, relaxed atmosphere set in courtyard, service was friendly and efficent as the courtyard filled up by 8pm, the food was fine(you only get whats on the menu, sides are worthy of consideration) the roast potatoes looked delicious, our choice next visit, the price was reasonable

Food is ok, Tiramisu excellent, service excellence. It is an alternative to Panzanello but first eat here and then go to Panzanello, otherwise you will not fully like the food from Cantineta...

Dinner here was easily one of our favorite meals of our two-week long trip through Italy and Slovenia. The steak was possibly the best piece of meat I've ever tasted - charred, but tender and juicy. The potatoes were absolutely perfect - crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the lasagna blew us away. The large outdoor courtyard is beyond charming, and... More

The restaurant was somewhat difficult to find, but worth the effort. We arrived around 7:30 before the crowd appeared at 8 PM. They had about 15-20 tables that were eventually filled. The meal was very tasty (not exceptional), but the service was friendly and attentive and the price very reasonable. We would return for another meal in the future.

Sassolini is a nice restaurant in the old section of Panzano that we have visited over 5 times during the past 3 years. Based on recent experience, it is good but we do not regard it as the #1 in town. Service is generally friendly and the food good but it can come slowly and this past summer, during two... More

Welcoming family restaurant with a lovely dining area in the garden. It is a very popular restaurant for the locals and it is always busy so if you want a table in the garden during the busy summer months make sure you make a reservation. The service is quick and friendly and the food is just amazing. Typical Italian food... More

The Cantinetta Sassolini, one of only a few restaurants in the old section of Panzano, and the only one open the night we stayed there, is a charming place, especially the outdoor seating. Nevertheless in all honesty I was a tad disappointed: the service was slow, items ordered were not delivered to the table until second requests were made and... More
