Wspreade ate here on sunday July 6th. It was an experience. First you enter the butcher shop where Dario is behind the counter. you are given wine and offered many appetizers- including bread with a spread of seasoned lard- yes that is right, lard. but it is good. then you are led up to an upstairs patio with two very... The best beef ever. Taste So excellent. Its just all you can eat. Waiters are very nice and feed you until you are unable to eat anymore. We have tried the 50euro lunch set with 5 kinds of beef. Price include water and wine. No other charge. Lunch time 1pm Dinner 8pm You have to arrive on Time as when... More

Great experience as the staff and owner are very charismatic and charming. First you go into the butcher shop where you are served sopressa, wine and crostini all while the owner cuts the meat to the tune of acdc. Then you pass upstairs to have dinner on long tables where you sit with strangers. Great experience!

Wow had an amazing lunch at Dario's. We were a little worried we might not meet him as he wasn't there when we arrived but lo and behold after a blast of his horn halfway through the meal he showed up with a bang. Loved sitting at the communal table. My wife and I were between groups of Italians on... More

So, I have such mixed feelings about this. When we were researching our trip to Italy we stumbled across this butcher and the restaurants and decided we had to visit. We booked our table and arrived on time for a meal at Offician Dell Bistecca. We arrived to complete chaos, entering through the butcher shop (no famous butcher, no ac/dc,... More

Dear me, if ever there is a restaurant based on PR and Marketing rather than genuine customer experience this is it. Judging by the number of groups, baseball hats (and tuscan hamburger gimmicks) it's clear the target market is N. America for Dario's Youtube and review promotions. The 'formulaic approach' goes like this (1) you are offered a small glass... More

Excellent lunch! Five meat courses, starting with steak tartare and carpaccio, and ending with Florentine steak. Accompanied with red wine and water, bread, baked potato, white beans, followed by coffee, cake and grappa. Set menu for reasonable 50 Eur. Reservations recommended.

If you are in Chianti, this is a must do but beware, it might make sense to stay over 1 night in Panzano because once the food and wine get rocking, the last thing you want to do is drive those winding tuscan hills!!. We were a large group so things started in the street-chianti obviously flowing, slabs of beef... More

This restaurant/Butcher's shop gets full marks more for being a fantastic attraction than it does for its meat (which is still very good) All of the other TA reviews were dead on - you get so much food and wine it's crazy. The steaks were all cooked to rare perfection, so I hope you like your steaks pink! More amazing... More

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Dario's restaurant. True, it's a "show", but it's a great show--entertaining and fun. The waiters are charming, as is Dario, and the meat was good (although really rare). We also loved the salt mix (bought a jar to bring home the next day).
