Since fifteen years, Osteria di Chichibio is an elegant seaside restaurant where you can taste specialties of fresh fish at 0 km. The catch, daily, at 0 km, sea (not farmed) is the absolute protagonist of the kitchen Chichibio, expressed a kitchen where everything is cooked in a natural way through the cooking in the wood oven. Among the dishes considered to be real must Chichibio: shellfish Catalan, redfish gratin, saint peter with the potatoes and in general all the fish dishes, from appetizers to the former to the latter. This was our only disappointing eating experience in a week of dining out in Puglia. I had a very small fish priced by the Kg. Don't fool yourself - the very smallest portion will be 0.4Kg so you are looking at pay just under half of the per kilogram cost. I'm very happy to pay 24E for a piece of... More

The delicious food here is made with local ingredients specializing in the many varieties of fish. The portions are a decent size and wines delicious. The service is very good and attentive.

It is hard to imagine better simple baked whole fish with olives and tomatoes. Light wine-based sauce. As good as any I can remember and priced within range of ordinary mortals. Waiter responsive and very good preparing the fillets; tables well separated; very comfortable. Excellent wine list with, again, reasonable prices.

If you are looking to go for some fresh sea food, this is not the bad place. Wine list is fine, sea food variety is there. Enjoy.

This is my first "terrible" rating........So we were really looking forward to this restaurant but what a disaster - possible an off night but from the anitpasti served in, what my wife described as campbells soup, through to the oversalted (bordeline inedible) pasta made this a night to forget. The service veered from over attentive early on to inattentive later... More

Last year, we dropped in for lunch not knowing what we were in for. Based on the great experience we returned this year for dinner. We chose the warm antipasti dish, wow! So many different things to try and enjoy. Followed with seafood paccheri with bottarga, everything bursting with flavour and freshness. It's a 'smarter' restaurant than most we had... More

Actually we found the restaurant by accident, looking for another one that was closed. You will find here great food and great service. We have had a fresh raw seafood that was followed by grilled fish. All was tasty and amazing. This place is absolutely worth a visit when in Polignano a Mare
