I really like the location so close to the old buildings and the city wall and relatively quiet compared to the restaurants outside the Centro Storico or in the more crowded places. The food is always great. I don't eat seafood but everyone keeps telling me how excellent and extraordinary the Carpaccio di Polpo is. My pasta and meet are... More

We were lucky enough to get a nice table outside with out a reservation. I had the Bacala Risotto.. I happen to love Bacala but had never had it as Risotto.. It was splendid and I am hunting for the recipe.. Recommend highly

Saw this lovely place while walking around and made a reservation for the next evening. You do need a reservation. Inside and out are both very atmospheric...we sat outside. Menu good with lots of seafood. I had sea bass in vegetable crust and my companion had mussels. We both loved our dinner...price reasonable and service very good. Highly recommend this... More

Food and service was excellent, plus you were given unexpected extra's with additional cost. We used this restaurant several times.

As suggested by locals, we wanted to eat in an Osteria and we came acorss this one. We ordered a muscles soup and it was delicious! So fresh and tasty! We then had fish (swordfish, cuttlefish, octopus), which was also very good. As a price range, it is slightly above average, though the food was perfect. I greatly suggest this... More

This is a charming little restaurant tucked into a little corner of the old town. The 4 of us came in for lunch and we all enjoyed our meal very much. We ordered fava beans with chicory and thin slices of grilled toast. as a starter to share. We drizzled some delicious olive oil over the pure and after the... More

The restaurant is in a lovely old building. On the night we ate at the Osteria there were few diners, so the service was efficient. We shared a tasty trio of vegetables and then had swordfish with mussels, and the local specialty of rice, potatoes and mussels. The seafood was well cooked and the accompanying Primitivo recommended by our waiter... More

Nice restaurant, good food, friendly host/owner. We liked it so much we returned twice for dinner during our 4 night stay in Polignana a Mare. The seafood soup with clams, muscles and shrimp was wonderful on both occasions as was the muscles with rice and potatoes. The grilled fish was also delicious. We will definitely return next time we are... More

A nice find in Polignano a MAre. This little place is tucked away in the old town next to the Purgatory church. . It is quiet and intimate. We had a very nice server who advised us about the nice local house wines. The meal was very good. Mussel soup and seafood soup were very tasty. The grilled seafood was... More

A refreshing change from the hustle of some of the other restuarants where they just want to feed you and get you out as soon as possible. Lovely local cuisine and great house red wine.
