Good dinner in Polignano.

Nice little restaurant with street seating. My wife had the tuna with sesame seeds that we both thought was great. We also had the local delicacy of mussels, rice, and potatoes that was also good. Had more mussels than at other restaurants. I had the grilled red shrimp which I don't recommend... read more

The food was generally good, just under seasoned for me. I like tasty food. If I don't need to add seasoning then that's a bonus. Kind of tells me the chef has tasted it also. I had the local ear pasta (Orecchiette) with breadcrumbs in a simple tomato sauce with a nice local beer called Viola Bionda (which I had... More

We were in Polignano a Mare in April during an unprecedented cold spell. This restaurant was a high point in our sleet- and rain-soaked stay. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. The location is nice, right inside the wall in the historic center. I highly recommend it and would go again.

We stopped here for a light lunch and had a very good meal, I had smoked burratine, this is a delicious cheese made from buffalo milk, heaven, the red prawns a delight as was the steak manzo, if you want tasty food locally produced this is the place to come.

Dei Mulini offers good local seafood in a nice old town setting. A tad more expensive than the other resaurants in the neighbourhood - keep in mind that Polignano is a major tourist destination of the area. Recommended.

I had the famous local red prawns, they were the best I'd eaten whilst in Polignano - so sweet - perfection. And, if they weren't enough of a delight I opted for the gelato dessert - wow - the most perfect cassata ever. I can't wait to return (hopefully next year). All of this and set in the most picturesque... More

Located in old town close to gate and just off the main square, we lucked into this restaurant after strolling around and checking out several others. At first the service was a little cool and less friendly than we had encountered elsewhere. This was not peak season but the restaurant was busy so I would recommend booking if possible. The... There were four of us and we shared a whole baked flounder, with oven roasted potatoes and other vegetables. It was one of the best meals we had in Italy.

The atmosphere is good, but the focus is the food. It is a bit more expensive than other places we ate at this region, but worth every penny. Dishes are sophisticated, real cuisine. The city disappointed us because it is too touristic, but the restaurant makes the visit worth it. Order the selection of the house's appetizers.
