Too expensive mediocre quality too touristic they oblige you to have 3dishes this normally is not necessary when food is good and you turn many tables based on quality too bad in the end... You feel fooled

Was with a small tour group(14) and someone suggested this Ristorante. Its only open from April until November. The other months its closed because of Waves crashing through the whole dining room which is basically a gorgeous cave. Prices were outrageous while the food was just ok. They charge you 10 euros each just to sit down. On top of that,... More

We were a group of 12 people who dined here on July 22 to celebrate my birthday. Despite us booking 3 months in advance we did not get the table we had been promised. The service was unfriendly, bordering to hostile, very unattentive and very slow. We had to wait 30 minutes just to get the wine we orderd when... More

On the face of it, this place looks like the location for a Bond film, or the setting of a Dumas novel. Ultimately you will always visit such a beautiful, unique place with high expectations. It seems nonsensical that a place of such aesthetic prominence cannot be first class in it's other facets. But good sense plays no part in... More

Set in the cliff overlooking the sea, this is a truly wonderful location. However, we felt that the quality of the food didn't quite match the location or price and wouldn't eat there again.

With such an incredible setting, our expectations were high. We decided to visit Polignano specifically for this restaurant. The view was breathtaking. Everything else was breathtakingly bad. Essentially, the owners have taken one of the most beautiful natural spots in Europe and somehow managed to screw it all up. Seriously, don't eat here. There are view points on the roads... More

I am a well traveled Italian, passionate of good food and good wine, and this is the second time I went to Grotta Palazzese, this is a review you can trust, to finally make some clarity about this place. 1. Place: the location is possibly the nicest place you will ever go to, you will fall in love with it... More

The waiters was rude, impolite and gave bad service - we felt we were an inconvenience to the staff during the whole dinner! The food was horrible - we had the tasting menu and could not eat more than a guarter and that was when we force ourselves. So with that said, only the view remain and we would say... More

The view was amazing! Great place to take pictures. Everything is so expensive. A plate of pasta is 30 euro, is very small, and not so good. Waiters just stand around, and stare, making you feel really uncomfortable. And they are very rude! Loved the experience, but i wouldn't go back.

rudness, wanted to get the menu and asked politely if we could look around. got kicked out and told that if we were not guests of the hotel we were not allowed to come in. we went several times to Polignano a mare and this is really the first time we've been mistreated in a public place.
