Stunning view BUT...

Where to start... I live in a city nearby Polignano and have been to this place twice. First time, 2007 or 2008, everything was really beautiful, we went there in August so it was warm even at night, we ate quite well(that I remember..) I read the menu and knew it was an expensive (really... read more

We travelled from Almafi coast which took us 8 hrs drive (back and fore) to get to the restuarant just to have dinner at this amazing looking restuarant for my bday. But it turned out to be a total disappointment! We emailed in to inform that it was my bday but nothing special was done. Not just that, the most... More

We were ecstatic to find this ristorante still open for lunch when we arrived. We were in Polignano for the day and knew about this lovely place to dine in the limestone cliffs. It's truly stunning! It's very expensive and was not in our budget so we sat and shared an appetizer, a bottle of Prosecco and a dessert. They... More

I was happy to splurge for this amazing view. We were seated for lunch without a reservation and were delighted. Things began well with an amuse bouche then we ordered a bottle of prosecco €35 and squash blossoms €33 and not especially hungry we skipped straight to the strawberry tiramisu €10. It felt mildly rushed but admittedly were the last... More

The spot is unbelievable but do not go on a windy day The food was almost uneatable, A true disappointment for the super expensive tab. There is a food minimum of close to 100€ per person A total tourist trap

So much for the positive news. The food was so so and the wine also. You have to order at least three courses!! Why?? Anyway we went for the full monty!... More

This restaurant is located in the side of a cliff below the town. It is very quiet and romantic with water lapping down below and birds and bats flying around over the water (not the patrons). The service is excellent, the prices are very high but the food is only average in quality. Be aware that there is a €10... More

Grotta Palazzese is a spectacular restaurant. The food is very good. The location is off the charts good. This may be the most spectacular restaurant setting I have ever seen. The restaurant is expensive especially for this part of Italy, but it is absolutely worth it. We went for lunch, and wish we could have gone back at night at... More

My friends took me away to Bari for the weekend just to go to this restaurant for dinner Saturday night and it didn't disappoint. Was worth flying to Italy for. So the location is totally amazing and beautiful. Nice touch to keep a dress code that suits the location. But what is really impressive is the fantastic food and service.... More

We visited in mid April, we were one of only 3 groups dining. The restaurant is not cheap, but the food was incredible. Fresh, crisp and taste infusion. The staff were on point, not once did I have an empty glass.
