Very friendly and provided us with a tip for an interesting local garden to visit, kells bay b n b. It's a Thai restaurant with café and an amazing tropical theme and outstanding wood carvings through the garden.

When we arrived to our B&B and checked in, we found out the kitchen here would be closing in a few minutes. We ran down the street to the Bridge bar (our initial plan was to go to the Moorings next door, but it was closed for a private event). The host warned us the kitchen was about to close,... More

We were famished after our trip to Skellig Michael, and we headed for the first pub we saw. Lucky for us, we landed on The Bridge Bar. It's a friendly place with a surprisingly sophisticated seafood menu - a clear step above your standard pub fare. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we headed back here for dinner, and... More

Here we enjoyed the best seafood chowder of our Ireland tour waiting for the rain to leave space to a much better day after a couple of hours in this warm bar. Recommended for couples, but also for big groups of families, it is much bigger than what you see outside.

We went to the Bridge Bar to hear traditional Irish music; we found that. But we went back again and again because of the great food. The quality of the food and service was more like what you'd expect in a top end restaurant rather than a pub. Having just stayed a week in Dingle and having paid trendy area... More

Ate here twice and had great food both times. The service was very attentive, the first time we arrived we were told we'd have to wait 10-15mins but after ordering a drink at the bar we were seated before the Guinness had time to settle. Portions are huge so make sure you're hungry when you go!

Back again at 'The Bridge' on hols. Was delighted to be there. Saw major changes which I had to get used to. Having a 'front of house' person to meet you on arrival is great. As this plasce is so busy it's nice to know how long you might be waiting for a table, it's also a very professional way... More

Went to dinner with a group of 11 and had a wonderful night. The place was packed but service was very efficient and friendly. We had to move after dinner as we were seated in the area that the musicians set up, but we're not rushed. Stayed for an unforgettable night of music - the best I saw in Ireland.... More

Great chowder! Every time the same. Very tasty with big chunks of fish. My favourite because some smoked fish in it. Thanks.

I have been visiting Valentia Island my whole life and in more recent times have stopped by the bridge bar once or twice during the holiday. I find the atmosphere to be great in the evenings and during the day it has a great outdoor seating area for a warm day if you get lucky. I had the fish and... More
