Portmagee. A smaller place than we imagined but beautifully laid back. And, SO CLEAN!!. When we arrived mid morning, there were locals out wearing Tidy Towns tabbards and sweeping the place clean. Spotlessly clean in fact. How good is that and a lesson much of the UK can aspire to! The Bridge Bar. Lunch was looking to be busy with... More

First thing to realise is that this place and the number 2 spot the moorings resaurant are joined together and i dont see the advantage of eating in the more salubrious Moorings. Foiod here was lovely. Well cooked with plentiful helping and nice vegatables. Very good specials on the board with a wide variety of dishes. Service was very good... More

Had the black sole here today; my sister had the grilled hake. Both were phenomenal! We sat at the picnic benches across the street and the food was brought over to us. The fish was cooked to perfection and came with a choice of salad and chips or veg and potatoes. I had the veg; my sister had the chips.... More

This place was hopping!! Packed full for the dinner crowd. My son and I got a cute little high bar seat with a view of the water, the waiter offered us a table once one was free but our view outside was fantastic so we stayed with our bar seats. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Service was quick,... More

Stopped here as part of an CIE tour and loved it - a casual atmosphere with a friendly staff made us feel like locals enjoying a meal instead of tourists. Clean and bright with a great location!

We ate here for a few nights whilst staying in Portmagee. The service was excellent and all staff we had contact with, were exceptional. We ate across the road on the outdoor seating late in the evening. Wonderful setting to compliment the gorgeous summer weather! Food was reasonably priced and was delivered to the table reasonably quickly after ordering. Nothing... More

My wife & I were in Portmagee mid July visiting my brother, his wife and his daughter. We had glorious weather. We were having pre dinner drinks by the waterside outside The Bridge Bar watching the activity in the harbour. We later adjourned to the bar to dine from the bar menu which was really extensive and fantastic value. It... More

It's only when I get back here I know what I have been missing! The added bonus this year was the weather. But as always the food, atmosphere, music, craic, but most importantly the people were great. What a welcome. Almost like the long lost son coming home. For the hard pressed punter the prices have not increased like in... More

Made a visit here after getting settled in our room at a local B&B. The music was amazing as well as the dancers. It was a very packed place as it was one of the few pubs/bars in this town. The place was friendly, met a few locals and had some great conversation. Not many places to sit but that's... More
