This was a great stop on our way thru the ring of Kerry as we grew hungry after getting lost on the ring. We wanted to stop and see were we would be going the next day when we went to the Michael Skellig rock. We could of stayed in this town and area easily but we were booked further... More

We had lunch here recently. I ordered the pan seared hake which was the daily special, and my husband ordered the tasting platter. The hake was fantastic. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and so very fresh. I absolutely loved it. It also had a side salad and big serving of chips that were delicious as well. My husband's... More

We ate very fresh tasting crispy fish and chips along with a bowl of seafood chowder while sitting at a picnic table across the street from The Bridge Bar. We ordered inside the restaurant and then the staff brought out our food to the table that looked over the lovely harbor.

Had lunch here after a boat tour of the Skellig Islands and it was absolutely delicious. I simply had a toasted sandwich, but it also came with chips and a salad. The salad was phenomenal. Pickled cucumbers and onion. VERY cute bar, right on the harbour. I would definitely recommend a meal here.

Helpful staff but food prices quite high for battered fish & chips. It was filling but average. The benches and tables at the front by the harbour are your best bet on a sunny day.

Could eat/drink in or out and the food was good! Fresh fish off the dock! Music or dance can be experienced there if one is able to stay awake for the start time! :)

best mate & I stopped here for one night, had the chowder + fish & chips. Both made with fish brought into the port 20 yards away that day. Also drank our fair share of Guinness which was among the best id had in a long time. If you're in Port Magee I can't see why you'd seat anywhere else.

Excellent fresh fish that tasted of the seaside; shame the jugs of milk and detritus from the previous diners hadn't been cleared from our table.

Portmagee. A smaller place than we imagined but beautifully laid back. And, SO CLEAN!!. When we arrived mid morning, there were locals out wearing Tidy Towns tabbards and sweeping the place clean. Spotlessly clean in fact. How good is that and a lesson much of the UK can aspire to! The Bridge Bar. Lunch was looking to be busy with... More
