We had a late lunch in Portmagee while driving the Ring Of Kerry. Our group of two families thougth the fish and chips were the best of the trip. I had lamb which was delicious. Great pints, service, and it was warm on a cold winter day.

I went to The Bridge many, many times during my stay in the area from Oct 16, 2014 to Jan 13, 2015. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere set by Gerard, the owner, and well lived up to be his staff. The seafood is fantastic and, given the location, fresh as can be. I also enjoyed the roasts (lamb and... More

We stopped and had a warm lunch on a wet and cold winters day. The fire was on to keep us warm, the food was of generous servings, cooked well and tasty. affordable for a family of 4 and very quick service. the owner was very helpful for local sightseeing tips.

Usually you go into a restaurant and you can guess it will be a bit "Meatloaf", two out of three etc... So imagine the surprise when we discover The Bridge Bar in Portmagee, Kerry, on a cold Sunday afternoon. Fire ablaze, lights nicely dimmed, friendly staff bustling around and Io and behold, a menu that they are happy to adapt... More

This was a great stop on our way thru the ring of Kerry as we grew hungry after getting lost on the ring. We wanted to stop and see were we would be going the next day when we went to the Michael Skellig rock. We could of stayed in this town and area easily but we were booked further... More

We had lunch here recently. I ordered the pan seared hake which was the daily special, and my husband ordered the tasting platter. The hake was fantastic. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and so very fresh. I absolutely loved it. It also had a side salad and big serving of chips that were delicious as well. My husband's... More

We ate very fresh tasting crispy fish and chips along with a bowl of seafood chowder while sitting at a picnic table across the street from The Bridge Bar. We ordered inside the restaurant and then the staff brought out our food to the table that looked over the lovely harbor.

Had lunch here after a boat tour of the Skellig Islands and it was absolutely delicious. I simply had a toasted sandwich, but it also came with chips and a salad. The salad was phenomenal. Pickled cucumbers and onion. VERY cute bar, right on the harbour. I would definitely recommend a meal here.
