Pink Elephant was a good place to eat.

Great place to eat out in the country along the Bay. Great view, good food. It was a nice surprise when we found our B&B was not in town. The atmosphere was fun eclectic. The wait staff were nice.

We were staying at a bed and breakfast nearby, and we had been driving all day, so we wanted somewhere that was close and a good place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised when we came to the Pink Elephant. The food was delicious, and there was an excellent selection. The service was great! We had a group of 9... More

Was recommended to us by a local. At first sight of the pink building we were a little unsure, but we received a friendly welcome and a table with a spectacular view. It wasn't cheap, but the food was of a high quality and very nicely cooked.

Despite holidaying in West Cork for many years, this was the first time I had visited The Pink Elephant. I brought my friend for her birthday and the views, atmosphere and staff were amazing. However, the food was a little hit and miss. I had the beef wellington which was organic and local - unfortunately it was also very stringy.... More

Lovely food and tasty. Nice quiet restaurant with great views. Staff were lovely. Got a simple vegetarian dish and it was €17. It was nice but just too expensive. Vegetarian food should never be comparative to meat dishes. This always puts me off eating out how badly vegetarians are treated. Other diners found the meat dishes a few euro dearer... More

We booked the restaurant and had a party for 50 for a special birthday. Niall Hegarty, the owner, organised everything, including the band and the fireworks. We had a fantastic evening; the food, all locally sourced (smoked salmon, Beef Wellington, Eton Mess, West Cork cheeses) was mouthwatering. The service was impeccable and friendly. The view across the bay is breathtaking.... More

You can dine outside on sunny days and expect the get the service possible. Its has a varied Menu offering with many tasty meals and their Lobster Bisque is to die for! The... More

Crazy lunch time prices, Nothing special except the view. Prices were way to expensive for lunch time and location and I told that to person taking the order, that just because there's a nice view doesn't mean they can charge crazy prices. Staff I found not to be all that nice. Menu choice ok but too dead for lunch and... More
