This is a 'must visit' restaurant if you are in the area. Fantastic food - the chowder was excellent as was my monkfish and John Dory dish. Excellent cocktails on the menu as well. The staff were charming and extremely helpful and the host took time out of a very busy evening to chat to us each time he visited... More

We were booked in by our landlady for the night. What a great choice. The view over the bay was magnificent, the menu full of excellent fish dishes which were well prepared and presented. Our waitress was a delight and the whole ambience of the place was friendly and welcoming

Had a wonderful and creative dinner here after a round at Old Head and even though we were a tad windblown they welcomed us in. The owner stopped by to chat. Prices were reasonable by US standards and the "secret" special of pulled pork was excellent. Will return if in the area again.

After taking a wrong turn taking the coastal route between Bandon and Clonakilty. Being out of season the sign helpfully encouraged us to drive in. Had a lovely chat with the owner and the interior is beautiful. The absolute highlight was sitting outside drinking in the view! Well worth a visit!

With a room booked at the Glen Country House B&B we wanted a close restaurant and The Pink Elephant was 5 minutes away. Beautiful view, especially at sunset. The food and service were both good. The only thing I thought was a bit odd is that we sat down initially in the bar, ordered our food and then were seated... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by Eileen of Seafield Farmhouse. The staff was friendly and courteous. The owner sat down for a chat. The carrot tarragon soup was yummy and the lobster with garlic butter even better. Not to be missed if you are in the area. Also the views are breath-taking.

We had a lovely dinner at the Pink Elephant. The restaurant is beautiful with a lovely bar as part of the dining room. Our dinner was delicious with wonderful service. It was dark, but they are located overlooking the ocean so would be a wonderful view during daylight.

You will not regret visit in this place. We had fish and chips which was lovely. Pint of bulmers on a nice day is what you need to stay out of depression
