Description: Hostellerie Berard & Spa is a delightful dining destination in La Cadiere d'Azur, an ancient hilltop village in Provence. Run by award-winning chef Rene Berard and his son Jean-Francois, Hostellerie Berard has a divine dining room decorated with shabby chic cane chairs, rustic frescoed walls and potted palms - and the kitchen is renowned for its traditional Provencal cuisine. The restaurant has a sunny herb-scented terrace for alfresco dining, and a menu that includes classic dishes such as the squid saut��ed with violet artichokes, Jabugo ham and black olives; caramelised veal served with roasted potates; and melon served with toasted almonds and Provencal herbs. The infamous wine cellar at Hostellerie Berard contains over 10,000 bottles.

Our group visited this place on October 2012. It was recommended by owner of Chateau de Pibarnon - Eric de Saint Victor.
We choosed different menus. Best price was the Menu de Marche - 35.- €
Food was very quality and perfectly served. Fillet de sanglier was excellent! Choice of different cheeses was superb.

Decided to stay at hostellerie based on restaurant's reputation. We were not disappointed with the experience . They had just re-opened after a break; had the degustation menu with recommended wines. Faultless food, overall a superb evening, overseen by a very proud Madame Bernard.

Everything you ever wished to find and eat in a restaurant doted not only for it's renoun, but the food is delicious. Went there with friends for a 60th birthday. A meal that will definitely stay foremost in our thoughts

We spent around $500 for a luncheon for 10 people and when the bill came, they had charged us an extra 13 euros for a more expensive bottle of wine which we didn't order and didn't get. What more is there to say. We visit Hostellerie Berard several years, and still it's a great place to eat. The chef is using nice produce, knows how to prepare his dishes! we had a great evening, with nice wines (especially the choice in wines is perfect, and you can even get half bottles) try the Ott -lovely! and ask...
