Seriously good food

The restaurant has large windows with spectacular views over the Provençal hills. There is no outdoor space which is a pity but it is air conditioned . Presided over by the venerable Madame Bérard the service was very good. Delicious canapés accompanied the aperitifs. We chose the Gourmands menu... read more

Yes, one has to expect it but the food was prepared deliciously and meticulously. Up to any expectations. It was a fusion of traditional with experimental modern elements. Quite a pleasure with well chosen local wines.

We went on a saturday for lunch: no lunch-menu on saturdays and sundays, for the price of a 1star evening meal the service was rather non-professionnel, the food was correct french food, nothing special: definitely not to recommend for lunch on weekends

Speacial occation dinner, we had to drive 20 minutes to get there but it was so worth it. Incredible dining experience, we shared the tasking menu for two. The whole eating experience lasted 3 hours, the food would not stop coming, and yet we would not wait for the next course/surprise.

I'm not an expert. However my colleagues told me that the Frnech food was good. I had fish there and no doubt it was good.

We arrived at the restaurant and sat outside with a glass of champagne. Here we were served a starter with different flavors. Neat and tidy served on a slate. We were assigned our seats and were given the menu and wine list. Shortly after we got servert even a starter, but we did not get our water and wine ??... More

We stayed in this delightful hotel late Feb and made a dinner reservation not knowing what a special treat we were in for. As a vegetarian it is sometimes difficult to find much variety in Provençal cuisine which focuses mainly on meat. Chef Berard prepared an egg cooked at 35c resting on a bed of truffled mashed potatoes, encased in... More

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for a few days doing a cooking course and also ate breakfast and some dinners at the hotel. Wonderful food prepared to perfection.

My husband and I just finished a wonderful lunch at Berards. We travel all over Europe and this ranks right up there with some of the best experience. From the moment we walked in -30 minutes late for our reservation, we were greeted with a gracious welcome. The entire staff was interested in our having a fun and delicious time.... More

Spent a few days there and had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Very good food, the plates are prepared according to the region influences, herbs and vegetables. Well worth a visit. Liked the veau , very tender, cooked slowly in the oven, a must try. The wine selection also is very good, with many wines from the region. The... More
