Gone downhill?

This was a poor meal - Soupe de poissons OK but moules had a juice like dishwater, lamb reasonable but potatoes reheated etc - poor value for money and quality - pity. Service was overstretched, although there weren't too many people there. Probably won't try again unless reviews improve.

We arrived at Restaurant du Port on a lovely sunny day, a busy lunch service was already under way, but we were seated straight away the waiter was very helpful and service was good we chose Fruit de Mer, it was fab, the best crab we have had for a long time, would have that again, Nothing was too much... We arrived as a party of 8 on a busy Saturday after already finding several other restaurants too busy. Our dinners ranged in age from 6 to 86 but everybody found something to their taste. The staff were helpful and attentive and the ambience was pleasantly French. The food was good, although not exceptional, but was good value for a... More

Although we were a little late for lunch at just before 2.30, du Port was still busy and food coming out of the kitchen. There were a couple of tables spare so we waited for a lull in service. When we asked for a table and the waitress simply said "c'est fini" and walked off. Checking after their hours are... More

We picked this restaurant mainly for the view over the bay from the terrace. The food is very reasonable priced (especially if you go for the fixed price menus) and very good quality. One of the best tasting Moules et Frites I have ever had.

We came to this restaurant mainly because its situation by the port with lovely views over the bay and for only 32euros had a fantastic lunch- my husband had his favourite-moules et frites while I went for raie salicorne-something I had never tried before but was delicious. We washed that down nicely with beer/wine. Would definitely recommend-service was good and... More

Restaurant du Port, Le Croytoy is the place for mussels .. Along with most of the other restaurants here! Excellent service and delicious moule marinier .. Probably amongst the best I've had... Small, sweet mussels, in a simple and no-too-salty and delicious sauce. Glass of good dry white wine, crisp chips and sun shine over looking the harbour... Hard to... More

Ok, so it is a bit chavvy. but the staff are nice, the shellfish platter is as fresh as fresh and the view the bay from the upper floor is stunning. What's not to like??

Very poor service- waiters ignored customers and chatted to or flirted with flirted friends. Waited over an hour for very poor food. Modules very small and over cooked, chips last of serving. No bread or nibbles to help wait out time. Still waiting for the water. Quite expensive and still hungry at the end. No stars. Probably the worst meal... More

Great atmosphere - relaxed and friendly. Lovely choice of food, very reasonably priced, great sea front location.
