Changed name, new owners now Le Carre Gourmand

Just had our first meal in this restaurant now under new ownership following a total refurbishment. The set menu is E 29 and a choice of starter, main & dessert. The food was delicious, nicely presented & beautifully served. The lady who is front of house is delightful & worked extremely hard. I... read more

This restaurant has now closed and been opened by somebodyelse as Le Carre Gourmand. I have not eaten at the new restaurant, but when I walked by it was full.

Another very pleasant visit to this restaurant in the main street. It was a Wednesday evening when quite a few of the other restaurants were closed and we were very happy to be able to get a table at Le Romillé. The menu was quite varied with a few more than usual non fishy choices and our choices; duck &... More

We had a nice meal here recently. The young lady (front of house) is delightful; very helpful & charming. The menu appears to change fairly regularly & the evening we went the food was very pleasant. Service took a little longer than anticipated but nice ambiance & nothing seemed too much trouble.

Away from the main quay this little restaurant is an excellent alternative to the modules and seafood found at the harbour. A small menu but with a variety of food. Foie gras starters excellent and fish main courses well cooked and flavoured. Good range of wines with bottles halves and glasses. Couldn't have asked for better. Would thoroughly recommend.

This is a good place to eat if you have had your fill of seafood platters at the other restaurants. The young couple do an excellent set menu with good options for 30 euro with does include some fish dishes. Service can get a little slow but as they only have one sitting it's no problem. We will go again.
