The painterly eye of a master chef brings the days catch, the regions best produce for the deputation of the discerning and the delighted guest at this excellent restaurant in the heart of this popular holiday destination for both the French and outsiders in the know.the airy elegance of the venue and the charming finesse of the front of house... Having read the good reviews this restaurant has received we decided to invite a French couple to lunch with us. We were very impressed with the menu and the quality of the food. So were our guests! We will be back soon.

A friend booked this restaurant for a special birthday lunch based on reviews from this site. The restaurant is light and bright and spacious, the tables are so well spaced that even when it was full of diners there was no sense of feeling crowded or busy. The staff are warm friendly and helpful. It took time to choose from... More

We have been to this restaurant several times pre and post refurbishment. The food and value for money is always excellent. The presentation of the dishes is a delight the only problem being what to choose! Service is understated but attentive. Couldn't fault our last meal and look forward to the next. Need to pre-book to ensure getting a table... More

On the last day of a short holiday at Saint-Valery sur Somme, on the La Baie de la Somme, we headed around the bay to this restaurant. a 4 course meal with wine and coffee for two came to 105 euros. The food was divine and the service excellent without being overbearing. I won't describe the food choices, as I... More

Although it would be possible to mourn the passing of the somewhat folksy old fashioned interior, now completely reworked into a light and stylish decor, this restaurant still provides one of the best restaurant experiences in the area with simply great food and an excellent approach to service which is attentive, friendly and enthusiastic but never OTT. The young chef's... More

We visited last weekend with some friends from the England for our third time. The new layout is very pleasant with a light spacy feel. Our favourite starter, millefleurs de rougets had been upgraded to a main course. I wasn't complaining though as the razor clam starter was great. The main of two sea bass filets with pesto wasn't bad... More

A bar with restaurant at the rear that offers top quality food with many local specialities in a warm relaxed environment. Service is definitely with a smile, and the menu is presented on an ever changing blackboard. My fellow diner chose the 'Weever fish' something that I only associated with pain before, but now know better. I chose the salt... More

Whilst staying in St. Valery this May, had to visit this place again after having such a lovely meal last year. Went on a Thursday evening, and every table was busy, but as before the service was charming and efficient, however the food was a bit of a disappointment. We all ate from the 34.50 Euro menu (see attached photos),... More

A friendly welcome awaits you in this bar/restaurant lying back from the port. The walls are gaily painted with local fishing scenes. Otherwise, the deco is sobre, but the lovely old floor tiles have been preserved. There is plenty of choice on the three course menu at EUR 34. We started with ravioli of lamb sweetbreads and langoustines, and scallops... More
