We loved our visit to Sabor Español! Except that we arrived without knowing that they don't accept credit cards! Huge "uh oh" if it meant my boyfriend was gonna pay and all he had was his card!!! But I'm a 21st century lady and we were so excited to be in the beautiful atmosphere that I used my $45 cash... More

We had a fabulous, tasty meal. The service was top notched. The atmosphere was superb. Overall, it was our favorite restaurant experience in Uvita.

Well worth finding this out of the way spot run by a couple from Spain. The mushroom appetizer and palm salad were unusually tasty as was the paella inspired seafood dish made with noodles instead of rice in the style of Barcelona. Excellent service and lovely setting.

It's a charming facility hidden away in heavy jungle, but near enough to a lovely beach to hear waves breaking beyond the trees and all the associated night noises. Great fun to drive in along remote stretches of roads which eventually deposit you at an unlikely oasis in a comfortable open air veranda - with lovely owners and staff catering... More

The food is great, the atmosphere is simple but welcoming, but the owners and the staff is what makes the place special. Great folks, extremely welcoming, attentive and warm. The food is delicious. Really good paellas, and a great variety of typical Spanish food. We were told it's the best restaurant of Uvita, and according to our experience, it is.... More

I went here a few times when they first opened in 2013 and finally made it back when I was in Costa Rica again this year. This is seriously some of the best food I've had EVER!! The chicken and bacon-wrapped banana skewers, the pork tenderloin in white wine sauce, the tuna in avocado, the coconut salmon....I always feel giddy... More

So we sought this place out based on all the TA reviews...it's hidden deep in the jungle and is in a quaint outdoor location with about 6 tables or so which means you should definitely make reservations. We tried the Paella and it here was so much food it was a shared dish ...filled with all sorts of seafood, everything... More

My wife and I decided to try this place based on reviews and were quite pleased. The place is a little hard to find, but thankfully once you get relatively close there are signs to point you in the right direction. The food is really good, and the night we were there, almost all of the tables were full. We... More

Amazing surprise in the middle of the jungle. A little hard to find but worthy. The Gazpacho was like Spain " We ordered a Big Seafood grill good for 2 people. The wine selection from Spain it was real good.
