This restaurant is, far and away, the best in the town of Uvita and one of the best in the country of Costa Rica as well (coming from one who lives here). My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant based upon recommendations of some of the local restauranteurs in Ojochal. Really excellent paella and sangria! The appetizers we tried were also very good. The Ojochal - Uvita area is really an oasis of fine dining in rural Costa Rica, and Sabor Espanol is one of the best restaurants we tried.

Had a lovely evening here for my boyfriend's birthday. The staff pulled out all the stops to decorate the table & make it a really special evening. The food was really tasty too - the steak is to die for! A great place.

It's tucked away right by the beach in a nice setting, good food, good service. I would def. return there again
