We ate twice at this place during our week-long trip to the area. It's not fancy, but the food is great. We had the fish fillet served Carribean style. We loved it. Our server was fantastic.

This place has become our go to place while visiting the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica. The staff here is friendly and the food is consistent! You can eat like a local and indulge yourself on many of the Costa Rican typical dishes without breaking the bank. Each time we go, we try something new and it never disappoints.... More

I was weary of this place at first because it looks like a tourist trap... it even has a gift shop. But my philosophy when traveling is if you see a restaurant full of locals then its probably good, so we stopped in. It was a good thing we did because the food is very good. We got the casado... We got this food delivered to our hotel, so it was obviously not piping hot when it arrived, but we loved the bbq pork ribs and the black bean soup! The nachos were a little soggy, but probably because they were delivered and not straight out of the kitchen. The chicken fajitas were average. Not sure if they deliver, I... More

Bartenders are lots of fun. Open air atmosphere and lots of great food! Next door to the supermarket in perfect location - try it!

My husband and I had dinner here twice during our week long stay in Uvita - and we thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Some of our favorite items were the Peruvian Ceviche and the Arroz con Pollo. Marvin was our waiter both times and he was wonderful, gave us great food suggestions and was extremely friendly. While the view isn't as... More

We asked a taxi driver to take us into Uvita so that we could find a restaurant and he chose this place. For the first while, we were the only gringos there. The menu was in both Spanish and English, but this is a fairly authentic place, which is not that easy to come by anymore in Costa Rica. It... More

Average road side fare. Nothing in comparaison to other local spots. Nice terrase but situated on the border of the main road. Ok service. Average food with no frills.

This is our almost daily hangout for a quick lunch or bite to eat. It's predominantly a Tico restaurant, but there's a good mix of Ticos, local expats and tourists. The food is really good and fresh. We mostly eat at the bar, as the bar menu has appetizers at a good price that are large enough to make it... More
