My family went there for our mother's birthday and it was incredible. The atmosphere was so cool, the staff was great and the food was off the charts. I would recommend this place to anyone who will be near Uvita and wants a phenomenal meal!
My family celebrated my birthday at Five Senses. It was truly memorable and by far the best meal we had in Costa Rica. Don't miss this special place.

We ate at Five Senses last night, and what a treat it was. The setting was beautiful- open to the garden, but no bugs to detract from the comfort. Susanna, the owner, hostess, waitress was really welcoming and friendly. The good was very well prepared and tasty; and the bill was very reasonable.

The setting and decor are beautiful, set in a peaceful garden with a bonfire, open to the west (although we missed the sunset, it is a perfect place to watch it, I'm sure!) The food was delicious and creative (cardamon in my stir-fry!), and we enjoyed the chef's gracious treat of appetizer and dessert.
