I had half a chicken...it was awesome! We have limited Spanish skills and ordering was a little challenging but it all worked out. Nice staff. My husband had a pizza which he loved. We could have shared it even though it was listed as a personal size.

Pizzeria La Fogata is a good option in Uvita not only for the price, the quality is really good. Try the pizza with honey and cilantro is incredibly good, the taste is different but good.

After the good reviews we thought we might give it a try at la Fogata, but I'm still a bit dissapointed about what we experienced. Lack of service (asked for a pizza without unions, got one with), mediocre food (tastes not a bit like Italian food) and this didn't at all justify the prices which are imo quite high. If... More

Regarding of the reviews we decided to have diner at La Fogata. We ordered a pizza and lasagna. The pizza's are very expensive and nothing special. The lasagne was medium. The taste of both was nothing more then oke but wasn't worth the money at all. So left pretty dissapointed and now we are wondering If we had dinner in... More

The restaurant seems very nice and nicely presented. It's quite close to the main road. The pizza itself was OK. The base was nice and most of the toppings were, but it was sooo cheesy - I'm talking heart attack cheesy. We went another evening and had pasta which was much nicer. Not a bad place, but there are better... More

It was pretty decent food, but it was the people that were so nice! They were kind and very compassionate. The food and atmosphere were also a big thumb up!!

The wood fired oven here is used for roasting chickens and the pizza is cooked in a standard pizza oven, but the combination of fresh local ingredients and creamy queso made this a good stop. Chicken pesto pizza with crushed macadamia nuts? Yes please. They speak English here but you'll get a bigger smile from the waitress when you speak... More

Best restaurant in the area. Pizzas and chicken wings are delicious and the care is top quality. If you visit the Uvita area and want to eat well, you should go to "La Fogata Restaurant" in addition to excellent food, could have a very good conversation with their owners.

our party of 4 ordered 2 large pizzas, full vegie and a goat cheese eneldo topped with fresh smoked salmon there were. On both, crust was very oily, like if there was an abuse of Pam non stick spray under and below, you could taste the oil. Crust was NOT thin, it had like a pita texture instead of the... More

We had dinner and everything was pretty much average: pizza, service, and prices. The food was ok, they had relatively many choices on the menu. The place is ok for Uvita if you're not expecting too much, but there's better places / pizzerias to go to.
