Good Food, Fair Price

After getting ripped off in Quepos for pizza, we tried this place on a friend's recommendation. The pizza was tasty, the service very friendly, and the price was fair. And they had WIFI. After a morning at Marino Ballena, the icy cold Cokes went down well, too.

This was the 2nd worst meal we had in Costa Rica and it was far more expensive than the one meal that was worse. Perhaps I'm a pizza snob but the pizza was terrible. The crust seemed like a regular tortilla that merely had some toppings thrown on it with a whole boat load of cheese and then run through... More

We had a group of 8 and there was plenty of seating. The staff was courteous and prompt. We went there for pizza and found so many options it was hard to decide. Since I am vegetarian I was pleased to see a whole page of veggie pizza choices!

Food was good, but the uniquely CR custom of 2 ice cubes continued at the restaurant... Food was solid good , but not a drive out of your way good. Service was solid

well as we were seated it took one of the 3 servers with only 2 tables in the restaurant to get us a drink, but we had to keep asking for more drinks at the counter because the ladies were too busy reading a clothing magazine at the counter. I waived several times to get their attention. so we orderd... More

We shared a large BBQ pizza and had two soft drinks and it was $26, admittedly the pizza was very nice and so large that a 3rd of it was left but it just felt a little expensive for what it was. The Pizza menu is vast and you can take out if you want, they were all kind enough... More

I've been going here for years and it's always good. I especially like the extra sauces to dip the pizza in.

This started out as a small "mom and Pop" kinda of place and has evolved into a great restaurant and hotel. When in Costa Rica one needs to have patience and understand that it is what it is. We call it Pura Vida.

We had the pesto chicken pizza and the prosciutto pizza with a crispy crust. They were so good, we had the pesto pizza twice more, once at home and once in the pizza parlour. Eating there was fun because we watched two iguanas and several birds while we were there. It's a lovely place.

Upon arriving at this resturaunt, we were told we could not sit at a table in the dining area and were seated at the bar. The dining area was not full, and locals who arrived after us sat themselves in that area. We were then told there was no pollo asado that evening, which was what I was planning on... More
