DEELISH!

Cafe Coyote is in Cabuya and is off the beaten trail...like most places in this area. But you must go! It is a wonderfully delicious respite of comfort and quality. Last month my fiancé and I visited Cabuya with one of our friends. One morning we stumbled upon Café El Coyote. We needed an internet connection and were hungry so we decided to stop in. We were greeted with a smile by a Tica Named Jenny. We talked with her for a little while (she speaks great English) and soon... More

Cafe Coyote is a must visit when in Cabuya. The owner, Jenny and her family are amazing hosts. The food is fresh and the portions are large. We ate here twice during our 9 days in Cabuya and had a variety of items. We had pizza, conch, pasta, fajitas and of course, the smoothies. And on top of the food... More

Cafe Coyote, is more than just a quaint cafe. It is the centre point of the community of Cabuya. Food is of excellent quality and all home-made! If you have any questions, Jenny and her family will have or find the answers for you. We rented a house 3 doors down for a month, and it was always delight to... More

Jenny and her family at cafe coyote are delightful. We go there for awesome pizza and yummy fruit smoothies. They have wifi too and never have a problem if we need to bring our laptops and Skype our family or friends. We will keep coming back that's for sure.

The food? It was always fresh and beautifully presented. The menu was a guide. When I arrived craving a milkshake, Andrea didn't hesitate to create one. If the food was not freshly delivered (like the day Genny was not happy with the chicken), she will suggest other options. But more than the great food is the way that Genny, Andrea,... More

We enjoyed our last meal (on our vacation) here. The evening atmosphere was quiet. But this allowed us to have a nice visit with friendly Jenny. Our food was yummy and I had the biggest piña colada in the world. A man (staff member) detracted from our experience somewhat unfortunately; he was just REALLY intense the whole time we were... This small restaurant in a pretty setting benefits from a very friendly efficient chef/patron in Jenny. She serves the fresh caught fish in light delicious sauces such as the pimento/limon. Her chicken fajitas are also highly recommended. She is also extremely informative and helpful on trips and the surrounding area generally.

Stopped in here after a grueling hike in the Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve. We were hungry and didn't expect much. We were very surprised. I ordered a Pina Colada that was Frozen Heaven and my wife had the margarita. Both were incredibly fresh. We watched the waitress pick the limes for the margarita! The pizza was thin crust and delicious.... More

We journeyed, on foot 3.5 km to find this restaurant and were very glad we did. The young man and girl who waited on us were very chatty and efficient. Our pizza was hot and loaded with vegetables and cheese.
