Good food, friendly staff and a reasonably priced meal! There is nothing on first looks that distinguishes this shack from the others at Baga, but i'm definitely going back here for the food :)

Fresh caught seafood, check! A delicious meal with said fresh seafood, check! Friendly staff, check! A great view, check! Reasonably priced, check! Reddy and his team do a great job of making you feel like you are at a friend's restaurant on the beach. We enjoyed it so much during our week in Goa that we ate there three times.... More

very good service well looked after by Raj and his team, but food is just as good in other shacks. Although the curry made with spinach is good

After having done some research on the eating joints in Baga, we decided to visit Shining Star, which seemed to have good reviews. We wanted to visit a shack with good food but one that was not overcrowded. Shining Star met with both the criteria. We had both our lunch and dinner at this place and I will thoroughly recommend... The Shining Star Shack was recommended to us by a friend and we weren't disappointed. The food there is first class. We enjoyed fresh lobster and king crab at exceptional value. The service is second to none and the staff will bend over backwards for you. A credit the proprietor Sam D Man and family.

Located right on the Baga beach it gives you a fantastic view of the open sea and is just next to Tito's Lane. We tried a lot of cocktails and Goan cuisine there and it was superb. We... More
