Great food - like being in Vietnam. Price excellent too - too many great things - requires a couple of visits.

Most consistent restaurant, very efficient service. In the 10 years we have been dining at Saigon Rose my taste buds anticipate the delivery of food.

Have been a very regular diner at Saigon Rose over many many years. Venue clean and service efficient, however food taste is loosing the Vietnamese flavour that first attracted us to the restaurant. When we first started going we as Australians were the odd one out, now due to the popularity of Vietnamese restaurants the client mix has changed. We... More

Saigon Rose is located in Victoria Street, Richmond in the heart of a thriving vietnamese strip of resraurants. Many of the restaurants in the strip are bland and feature lino or tiled floors, drab decor, plastic sauces bottles and dismissive staff etc Saigon Rose stands out for its higher level of service and more sophisticated decor. The food was tasty... More

We ordered some amazing Saigon rose squid and really nice Catonese beef, both of which were lovely. The Mongolian lamb was uninspiring as were the duck spring rolls and the fried spring rolls. The service was very quick and there was good meat/ vegetable combination. This is a loud but friendly restaurant, I would bring a family or good friends... More

The meal itself was very enjoyable. However an hour after eating I could not quench my thirst and got a terrible headache, which always happens to me when there is MSG in the food. I did ask if their food contained MSG and was told no...... I ended up consuming 5 x 600mls of water in 3 hours after having... More

Enquired a booking for 5 - 2 Adults, 2 child and a baby - they refuse booking as can only book up to 4 - their excuse that their table setting can only accomdate 4. I brought 2 scoopon - what a disspointment. Re phoned funny without scoopon you can book for as many people you like and they will... More

The starters were prawns wrapped in duck skin, and prawn spring rolls. These came with special sauces and all very good. The mains consisted of a tastey fried rice special, moist prawns wrapped in scallops and a very tender salt and herb crusted calarmari. Quite often I am reluctant to order calamari as at times if not cooked right can... More

Getting a half-price meal in a coupon deal was the motivation to go to Saigon Rose, but after the experience we will go again (and again!) at "full price". The service (table and reservations) was excellent and the food tasty, well presented, plentiful and with a wide choice of dishes. The menu prices were very reasonable and there is the... More

We love this place for great food and more up market Vietnamese. You will pay for the decor but it is a great way to introduce Vietnamese food to people who are not to sure about it. There are cheaper places in the street but this is a great place to dine.
