Maybe don't take the Degustation offering

We arrived on a Friday night for a romantic dinner for 2. Drinks and an Amuse bouche arrived promptly and service remained good all evening. The French Champagne had been recently opened and had plenty of bubble. As it was a special occasion, we opted for the Degustation Menu ($80/ head) which was... read more

We arrived here late in the evening sitting and we were accommodated without a hassle. Food was lovely, the fish had a nice crisp skin which is a must and kangaroo fillet tender. Sadly they had ran out of the souffle (or maybe the chef was ready to knock off) but we can't hold that against them. A very peasant... More

Why does Noir have to make life so difficult? They offer a four course lunch special for $35 (which included a glass of wine), a full degustation for $80 (add $55 for matched wines) or you can just go your own way and order a la carte. And as all these options look great, how the hell are you supposed... More

We had the most enjoyable dining experience eating at this charming restaurant. The innovative food, great wine list, superb service and pleasant helpful staff made this a place to definitely recommend. It is pricey but well worth it and the I must say that the spanner crab linguine with chilli and garlic will linger in my memory for a long,... More

Delightful French restaurant for a nice cosy dinner - great presentation, good food and good service. It was a busy night so one can forgive the staff for not making too much of an effort to chat with the patrons (which I hope they would do in less busy periods to make for a friendly and not just good customer... We first went to this restaurant when it opened. Persevered for a while and introduced friends to the place but we stopped going because they were just a little inconsistent across the board and pricey. It's been 5 years and we took some guests here for Sunday lunch. Approx $500 for 4 people and we had entrees, mains, a dessert... More

Three of us dined here last week and had the degustation option with wine. We just loved every dish. They were all interesting and tasty. They looked after my choice of vegetarian/pescatarian extremely well. The other two had the meat option and were also satisfied with their meals. I would certainly go back and have it again.

A family occasion with 6 of us. We all loved what we chose, each one different. Thin slice of pork belly with Apple salad. Perfectly balanced. Mushroom pie for the Vegas, smelt delicious, crispy skin duck and orange. There was more! Service was generous and light hearted. A find fine French food.

This is a hidden gem, the food and service are exemplary, a taste sensation wit the menu changing regularly. A well stocked bar and French Champagne by the glass is a bonus. Best value in Richmond and complimented by a wine bar upstairs. Now a 1 star restaurant you need to book.
