Food not cheap but one of the best rib dinners we every ate. Definitely worth a stopover should you be in Osoyoos.

After our long day in Osoyoos, we had dinner at this place and we were very surprised that you could get a 5 star experience so off the beaten track! Our waiter offered to assist with some wine pairing for our meal and this was a great idea! The wine, the food, the food presentation and the service was all... More

The amuse bouche, tomato water, was such a terrific start. Very savory. The remainder of the meal followed suit. Elk and Ribeye were perfect. We came back and had salmon as well. Everything was great - and what a great view. Good service. Highly recommended.

On a wine tour, stopped in for a delightful lunch. The view of the valley and seats on the terrace added to the experience. Food was a delight, tasty and beautifully prepared. We shared a goat cheese salad with a wonderful orange basil dressing, along with the baked brie topped with apricot compote. Left us room for dessert and the... More

After visiting a couple of wineries in the area we stopped here for lunch, from the outset the staff were very efficient, as it was a lovely day we asked for a table outside on the balcony, they didn't disappoint, we had spectacular views over the Okanagan Valley from our table. Our server came to our table and explained about... More

On Sunday my husband and I decided to go for a late lunch. It was a beautiful day in wine country so we chose Burrowing Owl. Not being a big eater I normally look at the appetizer side of the menu and this day was no exception. I chose the Breads and Spreads. So delicious! Tapenade, shrimp salad and carrot... More

We had supper here, rounding off our biking tour of 5 wineries in the area. Perfect way to end the day! The patio was lovely, with a great view over the vineyard - we sat on the side facing the pool, and even though that was pretty enough, try for the tables on the other side - seemed like they... We had an excellent lunch at the Sonora Room last week. The only thing I might comment on was that there wasn't a lot to choose from on the menu. I found it difficult to decide as I wasn't that keen on the choices, but the food that I ordered (Polenta) was delicious as was the wine!

I have travelled all over the world to wine regions, Tuscany, Mendoza etc. I found on both times at the Burrowing Owl they are full of themselves and are rude to people. Don't get me wrong..the food is good and is typically overpriced for a winery. Do yourself a favour and go across the valley to Terafina! Or stop by... More
