After being ignored at the restaurant entrance for some time we called out to a waitress who assured us someone would be over to seat us but no I had to grab another staff who went searching for the hostess. She breezed over and asked if we had a reservation which we didn't so she haughtily and proudly told me... More

We had an amazing lunch on the deck. The food was outstanding and you can't beat the view from the deck. Our waitress was very good. Over all a very pleasant experience and would go again in a heartbeat!

Just had dinner on the patio of the Sonora Room & it was perfect! Service was attentive & not overbearing. Pleasant server & wait staff. Food was amazing, fresh & locally sourced & paired perfectly with The Burrowing Owl wines. 6pm was good timing to enjoy the sun & watch it set post dinner. Highly recommended & will definitely be... Another gorgeous evening on the deck. The meal was again excellent with a nice Burrowing Owl merlot. Service was well above par and Chef Brock visited our table for a chat. The personal touch and experience make this a regular stop on our wine tour experience. Yes, they take reservations. The outside deck gives you a view and the feel... More

An amazing meal - simply delicious and perfection. Our food was so beautiful we had to take pictures. More importantly, everything was prepared perfectly and with such attention to detail. It was fun discovering tiny fruits and vegetables in the dishes that I had never eaten before. Simply lovely.

Yes it's the Sonora Room, but it is known exclusively in the southern Okanagan as the "Burrowing Owl" as per the winery. A bit off the main highway, but not too difficult to find, and find it you must. An adult restaurant. Yes, of course young children are welcome, but the menu, particularly at dinner, is more adult oriented and... More

Located at the Burrowing Owl Winery, this restaurant is truly sublime. One of the best meals we have eaten anywhere, anytime. We ate outside on the patio overlooking the vineyards and had a magical time together. If you're in the area, you must put this place on your dinner list, and leave room for dessert.

The Sonora Room, the restaurant at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery, is superb in just about every aspect. You can dine indoors or outdoors on a terrace, with views of the surrounding vineyards and hills. It's particularly pleasant if you're staying at the winery's adjacent guest house. We had two dinners here and each night had the Haida Gwai halibut, which... More

Stopped in for lunch after a great wine tasting and was thrilled with our patio table, amazing view of the vineyards, friendly service. We had a feature meatball sandwich with soup and the menu duck confit. I can see why the duck confit is known as one of their specialty items, it was tender and full of flavour. A definite... More

We had the privilege of dining at the Sonora Room this past Saturday night to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary. Our server Ron was amazing and very attentive right down to making wine recommendations. Brian had the steak which was cooked perfectly and I had the Sockeye Salmon which I would highly recommend. The whole dining experience was a perfect... More
