Great Food and a Stunning View

We were there mid week in late March and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Miradoro has an extensive wine list so you are sure to be able to find your favourite listed. The views are stunning which led me too expect more. Stopped in for lunch and my pizza was so so and the special just was, how to say, not to our liking. One would expect some amazing food to go along with the view but the menu lacked the creativity I was expecting.

We appreciate your review and all that was mentioned. Our views are stunning and, as well, our menu offers a nice variety of items to choose from. Fried cauliflower with capers & raisins, classic Neapolitan style pizza, beet risotto with beet fudge and beet chips, local okanagan char with smoked potato gnocchi and fried rosebank farm chicken with romesco and... We expected great things of this restaurant judging from the reviews given to us by friends. However, we were disappointed by the menu, and felt the service was unacceptably slow. It has a great view and the potential to be wonderful, so maybe we just hit it on a bad evening.

It's regretful that your experience at Miradoro didn't meet the expectations given to you by others. And, as providing prompt service is a quality we care to give, know that these matters are constantly being managed and improving. Both our menus lunch and dinner offer a variety of items from grilled octopus to classic Neapolitan style pizzas, beet risotto, fried... More

Miradoro has been our go to restaurant each year we visit Osoyoos. The service and food is always impeccable. The wine list is great as it includes a good selection of wines from the region in addition to Tinhorn. The pastas and Neapolitan pizzas are the best and very authentic. Miradoro is a must go to culinary destination in Osoyoos.

Miradoro just opened for the season; however, the chef was ready. The Tinhorn Creek Winery is on the property, and they make some excellent pinots and whites. Actually, some of their reds from the other side of the valley are pretty good, too. I had a flight of their pinots, two of which are sold out at the tasting room.... More

My wife and I had dinner in March. We shared the octopus starter and found it to be very tough. We both had the char as a main course and enjoyed it but were disappointed that there was not a better selection of entrees. We had the hazlenut and lemon cream dessert, both of which were very good. The wine,... More

We've had a great start to our spring season after being closed for our two month winter break. We appreciate you dining with us and we thank you for your review. For our quieter months Chef has designed a menu with a selection of items that accommodates the business that supports Miradoro. As well, our octopus is gently braised for... More

Only stopped in for a glass of wine one night on a drive back to our room along the way. The kitchen was closed, but the view and a glass of wine was nice. Very quiet at that time, and wouldve been nice at sunset...otherwise, pretty much blackness and some lights. We will return to try the food for sure,... More

We have eaten at Miradora's several times over the past two years. Usually before or after an event at Tinhorn Creek Winery. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking, from any seat. What impressed me the most was the service, which I found to be both friendly and professional, as well as the innovative menu, which surpasses what you might... More
