Freindly

The food is not overly creative, rather basic and blah, however, have a beer and enjoy the view and watch the locals and visitors interact. The view of the boats/docks is fascinating as it is a busy little harbour. I found the staff very talkative and friendly and willing to share information on... read more

There is a lot going on around this historic old hotel and it's fun to sit and watch all the boats coming and going from the balcony. Not much happens at night so we had a restful sleep in the beautifully appointed ocean view rooms.

I will first start by saying we had a beautifully renovated room with a wonderful view...we were very happy with it...However...the cleaning staff was not up to par...we had to actually call to have our room cleaned properly as the first attempt only made the bed and nothing else....Breakfast was not the greatest either and we found all the staff... The rooms are way too expensive for what they are. $180 per night is over the top, they are worth about $60 per night. Ridiculous!!!

This is one of the worst restaurants I have been to in Canada. And thats saying something. The menu looks appealing on paper, but what they actually serve is a massive disappointment. My wife ordered the pasta salad that was hard and basically inedible; I can only assume it had been cooked 2 weeks earlier and left in the fridge... More

vacationing on the Sunshine Coast, so went up to Lund as we heard it is a beautiful place. The Hotel is a heritage building, well cared for and interesting (inside and out). Lunch was good (the four of us all enjoyed our meals), beer was good, service was good and the view of the ocean was perfect!. Too bad there... More

Old hotel at the end of the road caters to nature-lovers. Rooms are basic but adequate, and there's just enough diversion in Lund to entertain visiting city-slickers, including the work of local artisans.

Very nice location and friendly staff. We stayed in the king suite with balcony and ocean views. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and highly recommend it.

Very nice view of the harbour and Savary Island. There is outside seating, but was too windy the day we were there for late lunch. Excellent bar type food. The seafood chowder was very good.

Dropped in for a visit after trip to Savory Island. Great Dry Ribs and Pint of Zunga (Townsite Brewery). Excellent view from Patio with lots of harbour activity.
