Visited a few times but never really impressed and perhaps not surprisingly its not there any more and has been replaced by the Bryn Owain pub/restaurant which I've yet to try but which I've heard good things about.

4 of us went, all had either cod or haddock.bill with a few extras was nearly £120..quality was poor,in fact very poor, you can get 100% better at 75% cheaper at a decent chippy...absolute rip off absolute rubbish

This is now called the Bryn Owain. It's no longer a Loch Fyne but still owned by the parent company - Greene King. I don't know what the food is like, I haven't tried it.

We always enjoyed our meals at this restaurant so when I tried to book a few weeks ago I was disappointed to find it had closed. I gather it' a "Gastropub" now. No thanks.

Loch Fyne finished months ago, keep up Trip Advisor, now a SA Brain pub serving just about acceptable food (that is if you are really hungry) I wouldn' t rush back. There are plenty of really good food outlets in the surrounding area.

Loch Fyne - Cowbridge closed, taken over by a gastro pub, which may have great food but somebody needs to updated the web so people don't go looking for Loch Fyne and get something different

We went there without reading the reviews and I have to say I agree with the rest of the comments. They can do so much more at that very nice environment they have. First of all the fish in the counter/fridge it was not fresh at all. If I had the store I would have felt shame to show this... More

A little disappointing. Both starters really good so we had high expectations. The smoked haddock was quite good but the seared tuna was a huge let down. Was so thin that not even Rick Stein and his band of expect fish chefs could cook that "rare" in the middle. I think they all wanted to go home because we were... More

This is a lovely building reminiscent of Southern States and we enjoyed very attentive and friendly service. I chose fresh Sea Bream from the counter and my friend went for a risotto with chorizo. The fish was fresh and cooked well but the birds eye chilli and herb dressing - was a butter sauce with fine dice of something not... More
