The champagne supper c£60 pp for 6 courses plus champagne and fine wines was amazing and well worth the money. We enjoyed dishes that we would not normally choose and which opened up our taste buds and textures. The first course of duck was superb and the 2nd course of paupiettes of sole was absolutely tremendous. The other courses were... More

A friend and I went in on the spur of the moment for lunch and chose from the three course set menu. We were shown to a table near the front of the building which was very pleasant although a little on the dark side. Only later did we realise the place goes back a fair way and there are... More

Although my overall rating of this restaurant is very good and on previous visits I have been very satisfied, on this occasion I was disappointed in the value of the meal I chose which was sea bass priced at £17.50. This consisted of a very small piece of fish on top of mashed potatoes with a small amount of pak... More

Stopped here for lunch on Saturday without a reservation. They were quite busy but found us a table. We had the fixed price lunch menu. My girlfriend had the Salmon fillet to start. I decided to sample it to make sure it was ok. Wow. It was so moist yet slightly seared it immediately inspired food envy. My crispy poached... More

What a fantastic place. A great value 'early bird menu' between 6pm-6.55pm was what we took advantage of, and the quality was simply top-drawer. Staff were helpful and friendly. If we are nearby again, we will certainly return. My only regret of the night was not having extra change to leave a bigger tip!
