Excellent food, excellent warm welcoming staff and beautiful surroundings. I have also been to The Market Place on one of their special evenings like Faulty Towers - it really is something not to be missed!

I have been coming to Cowbridge for years and know the town well. I can honestly say this is the best restaurant I've been to there. Food great and service fun and friendly. Lovely building - I knew it as the Mason's Arms - is it still haunted?

the building of the restaurant is beautifully rehabilitated and so are the interiors: being an aesthete I was naturally attracted to those even if I usually mistrust places where you can find typical dished of many different countries on the menu. And truth be told the menu is quite character-less. Still we wanted to give it a try but we... More

Really warm and welcoming restaurant with very friendly staff, and delicious food. We went on an Italian themed evening and the menu had been planned as a one off, with clearly a great deal of imagination and care, and some of the best home-made chips ever! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends.

Again here for lunch, my friends from London love the restaurant and we all think its great value for money. I have never had a bad meal in all the 6 years I have been visiting. Staff friendly too.

This is one of the very few restaurants that I have ever eaten in, that I want to re-visit again and again. The food and service is constently excellent and the prices ( I live in central London) are shockingly cheap for such high quality. I now see they are introducing lobster in a big way. Good luck to them.

Very welcoming staff and tasty food. We did not book and so we're seated in a slightly noisier spot near the kitchen. Not the cheapest meal and a slightly limited menu but good all the same.
