Good food in Cowbridge.

Very pleasant varied surroundings, excellent attentive staff. The food was very good, the highlight being the range of extremely tasty puddings, quite to die for!! Lovely evening. You are advised to book as very, very busy!

We took my parents to celebrate their Diamond wedding anniversary, and had a lovely time. The staff were very attentive and helpful, the food was excellent all round, the champagne was properly served. We will definitely come again.

Had Sunday lunch here at the end of a visit to family in Cowbridge. Our table of eight was easily and comfortably accommodated in the pleasant surroundings. The range of food on offer was excellent and between us we tried a broad variety of both starters and mains. My scallops to start and the lamb (which arrived beautifully pink, as... More

We have eaten here several times, but always over the weekend of the Cowbridge Food Fayre. So we decided to try it on a friday evening and ate from the Early Early supper menu. It was a real treat... Two courses for £15;95. The food was delicious and the service excellent... To start I had a onion tart tatin with... More

We arrived without a booking on a saturday night, we were made welcome and seated after a short wait. The service was superb and the food was excellent. We will be back whenever we find ourselves in the area.

You know what it's like when something is nearly right, almost great! That's how it was for our table of four last Friday lunchtime. The place, tables and staff were fine. In fact this historic building has ben made into one of the most comfortable dining places I have been to. If only the food had been a little better.... More

On Trip adviser it rates as 3rd, I found this amazing to think there can be anywhere better. The attention to detail and the effort to achieve such consistent taste through all aspects of our courses is to be applauded, only wish we lived closer, however my sister does so we will be back, cheers Andrew & Sally Edey

Tasteless and massively over priced. None of the dishes were seasoned and my lamb starter was disgusting. The manager seemed very sorry that I did not enjoy my starter, naturally you would then think this would be taken off our bill... It wasn't. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how much the bill came to. Safe to say... More
