I visited Red Fox Pub with my family for the dinner. The Welcome was warm and very friendly. The staff knows how to greet their customers and make them feel comfortable. Their sense of humour and efficiency were great and every place should learn the magic of their Customer Service. We have ordered the signature Burgers with chips. It was... More

Visiting my daughter & her fiancé in wales for my mum's 84th birthday. They wanted to take Nanna out for a birthday meal & know how much she enjoys her Sunday roast so took us to 'The Red Fox' What a good choice! As it is so tucked away, it could easily be missed........ Don't......... This is worth finding, not... More

Visited the Red Fox while visiting family in Wales. The staff were friendly, the service was excellent and the food was very good and reasonably priced. The kids' menu also had a good range of choices. The only slight criticism is no draught Guinness, just some strange device that gasses it from a can...doesn't quite taste the same. Would definitely... More

Called into this lovely village pub for lunch. Met, sorry welcomed by very friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Prices reasonable and food very good. Only criticism could do with a more varied real ale selection as it only has the standard offerings. Would definitely call again.

Fantastic Real Ale pub hiding off the beaten track. Wooden beams, fireplace, cool in the summer and I imagine cosy in winter. The food was very reasonably priced and is huge. I couldn't finish my ploughmans so the landlady told me to wrap the cheese and take it home. Very friendly and welcoming without being smarmy. Also has 4 veggie... More

This is a little gem of an inn to be found in the pretty Penllyn village. It services an incredible range of very good ales, all served with care and priced very reasonably, so book your taxi or appoint a duty driver before you go. With a restaurant busy serving good pub food, with daily specials, it worth booking, although... More

Have eaten here many times. The team are very attentive and enthusiastic Food is very good but lately prices have risen a little and portions have reduced. Otherwise would have given 5 stars. Still one of my favourites!
