We are frequent visitors to the Red Fox and have never been let down. Always a warm welcome even when very busy. Good selection of food with generous helpings. (I particularly like the curries, lots of lean meat). The beers are kept very well and there is always a good choice on tap and expert knowledge about the beer &... More

We went to this pub Sunday for the first time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were shown immediately to our table. Lunch was delicious with a good choice we had the traditional Sunday lunch but there were alternatives if you wanted a different choice. It was served with assortment of vegetables and the best red cabbage I... More

A gem indeed. I can't say this is a hidden gem; plenty of people know of it, but what an experience. To start with, this pub is beer heaven if that's what you like (a regular in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide). Alex, the manager, was welcoming on arrival and enthusiastic about what beers were on offer. He was knowledgeable about... More

A last minute decision to go out with our daughter who was popping back from Uni for the weekend. A warm and friendly welcome with excellent choice of guest ales. Food very good and reasonable price. Full when we arrived, most were diners so at 11.00 there were few left in the pub.
