There are no paninis here... but they have a fantastic "lairds lunch" which leaves you thoroughly stuffed with goodness. This is not a typical cafe other than they have coffee and art for sale on the walls, all the rest is special. The food is excellent and tasty, ethically sourced and well presented. The service is genuinely good, these people... More

We arrived hungry and thirsty having driven for hours through the highlands and stopping off at various places and art and craft centres. Given a warm welcome huge steaming bowls of soup, and reviving coffees. Very welcome after the driving rains .

We headed for this café as it was mentioned in a locally produced booklet about gallery/cafes. It was quite out of the way and we arrived fairly late in the day but the staff were very friendly and we had coffee and cake/scone both of which were delicious. We noticed that it is up for sale which is a shame... More

Stopped here with my young daughter and partner. There was a box of toys which kept our daughter amused for quite some time until our food arrived. The children's plate was healthy and tasty. We both had the fisherman's lunch which was delicious. Loved the home made bread. Coffee and cake after were also very good. Staff were welcoming and... More

We stopped here to have lunch after reading good reviews. Not disappointed at all. My partner and i both had the soup of the day and fisherman's lunch. Soup was excellent; bread the best bread i had in the whole of Britain and the salad was very special with all kinds of herbs and flavors. Also the cake with cherries... More

My friend and I stopped here after a bit of hiking on Isle of Skye. It was recommended to us by the B&B we were staying at, and the reviews looked good. Maybe I was just too used to pub food, but this place disappointed :-( The soup wasn't very tasty, and my friend's locally foraged salad was unappetizing. We... More

This little arty lunchplace is remote but I liked it. My lunch here was perfect and the pastries fresh and very tastefull. The price/quality is good. The drive to this place is a scenic drive and sometimes very narrow but go for it!
