Lovely lunch with kids. Very friendly staff, excellent fresh local food. Recommend the laird's lunch. Interestingly the locally grown salad is what amazed us. Intense flavours that we've never experienced before. Kids well entertained with running about outside and they have a well stocked toyboy!

A mile or two up a small single track road is this gem of a cafe, serving light lunches and tea/ coffee during the day. The tea selection is, at first glance, rather strange - eg Earl Gray with flowers - but the taste is fantastic. My friend had chai, which is usually too sweet, but here was unsweetened and... More

My husband & I stumbled upon the Red Roof Cafe Gallery after a walk out to Neist Point in the rain. It provided some welcome hot drinks (soya milk available) & cakes (more than one vegan-friendly option) in a lovely setting. Highly recommend.

The loveliest salad ever is served here with edible flowers (little pansies, other flowers in season).Homemade loaves were just out of the oven when we arrived and there is always a good selection of their own cakes.Soup is served with bread or cheese or plain scones - and these are huge though the former could be a lot cheesier I... Lovely!!! The food, the ambience and the people, all together make it a beautiful experience. A quaint off the road 'Red Roofed' cafe, managed by a team of wonderful people who's love for food and art is very obviously visible in the restaurant and on their platters. The food was fresh and the plates were decorated with fresh edible flowers... More

Really lovely cafe with great staff and fantastic art! Had the heather tea and a fruit scone with lemon and lime curd, both of which were delicious! Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

We would not had found Red Roof had it not been recommended by those serving in the Skye Silver shop - and are we glad we took their recommendation. It is a unique and wonderful place well off the beaten track. The weather was wild, wet and windy when we visited but the warmth of the welcome more than made... More

Lovely little gem of a cafe, just off the main the road. Found it by chance and enjoyed the warm welcome, atmosphere and food on offer. Was very busy but we where able to get a table. Food was all homemade, great choice and really well presented. Would definitely recommend a visit.
