Grill Night😃

Wednesday night dinner at Russell's - why not? The 'Grill Menu' available on Wednesday and Thursday nights at the moment is outstanding value for money. The quality of food and service was excellent - as always😃 Thank you Glen and Robert!

Having been before I was sure we were going to have a wonderful meal. I was not disappointed . The menu was excellent with something for all. 3 had the goats cheese salads with Apple and walnuts and 3 had the soup, beautifly served. Fresh bread also home made is kitchen trade mark also my favourite. Main courses were hot... More

4 of us, 2 vegetarians and 2 omnivores ate here last night. We received a warm welcome from the maitre d' and were shown into a cosy lounge for a drink while our table was prepared. The meal was really tasty and between the four of us we sampled a good cross section of all the starters, mains and desserts... More

We have been here many times over the years whilst staying at Smiddy House. I suggest you read that review. Russell. the chef is excellent and the food has always been very good as far as we are concerned. The two partners in the businesses (Russell and a Robert) are very caring and set extremely high standards.

Had the great pleasure of eating at Russell's recently. My sister made the booking and forgot to tell them there was vegan in the party until about 3 hours before. They apologies in return email saying choice would be limited, however they had 2 or 3 starter options and 2 main options when I got there. As a vegan I... More

You get what you pay for in life, sometimes a bid of decadence and indulgence is in order, don't forget your wallet as it's not cheap, but worth it as a treat or special occasion, wonderful food and service

We dined in the restaurant on two consecutive nights. On both occasions the food and service was excellent. The food is on a par with any top restaurant in London.

Fact: As we were travelling by car I had nothing to eat after a snack of toast around 12 noon on Saturday 25th. October. Fact; My wife and I ate in this restaurant around 8p.m. that evening and had nothing afterwards. Fact: We both had the same soup but my main course contained monkfish, salmon and couscous, together with a... More

Dinner on Friday to celebrate a birthday. A warm welcome and an area to have a drink first and study the menu - choosing was difficult as the choices all look good. Duck salad starter, sea bream main both dishes were beautiful!!! A wee complimentary mini bowl of the parsnip soup - tasty!! A bottle of Pinot griot - lovely.... More
