Description: At the Old Station Restaurant & Bar we offer great locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Dine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in the unique setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. We are located at Spean Bridge station where the Commandos began their training during the Second World War. Relax beside the fire in our public bar and enjoy local real ales. We are the only bar in the village serving real ale on draught. We also have a good selection of malt whisky and wine. Children are very welcome ... And we even have a special menu for the wee ones!

Was hoping for a little more oomph in the haddock and chips I had. Mine were kind of bland. Service was prompt and friendly, so that was nice. Easy walk from Distant Hills was welcome after a long drive in from Glasgow.

What a great idea to turn an old station house into a restaurant. The food was simply superb. Excellent service and good value for the top quality food received.

This is a darling very small place, friendly staff who work very hard and very quickly with a varied menu. The smoked salmon starter was wonderful, unfortunately the chef swearing through that course was a bit disturbing but then things went from bad to worse. Our sweet waitress brought an extra main dish out for us ( we were quite... More

Charming old railway station serving lovely well cooked and presented food. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

It's an interesting railway environment, and the beer is good, but we found the food only average and the service a bit hit and miss. The prices are pretty keen though, so you could say that the value for money is good...

The Old Station is a delightful restaurant, with friendly, attentive staff and very good, reasonably priced food, as well as an extensive collection of different gins! The restaurant itself is the waiting room of the old station (funnily enough) and the working platform is outside. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone travelling in the area, it's unpretentious and very... More

The setting is lovely and cosy - being the old station waiting rooms. We had a drink in the bar before sitting at our table and browsed the menu that had lots of local produce. They also have a fantastic selection of Scottish Gin's - I was working my way through most of them during the evening. The portions are... More
