At the Old Station Restaurant & Bar we offer great locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Dine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in the unique setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. We are located at Spean Bridge station where the Commandos began their training during the Second World War.
Relax beside the fire in our public bar and enjoy local real ales. We are the only bar in the village serving real ale on draught. We also have a good selection of malt whisky, Scottish gins and wine. We have a gluten-free menu which is available on request. Children are very welcome ... And we even have a special menu for the wee ones!

A wonderful experience.

The owner Ben was very friendly and a perfect host. Had Proclaimers playing in the background....always good in the Highlands! Meal was delicious and the restaurant setting is unique with trains passing outside the window. One of our favourites!

My sister and I had a fine meal here while hiking the Great Glen Way. It was easy to get to (not too much extra walking!) and was a fun setting for a meal. The food is not exotic or exciting, but perfectly fine and the atmosphere was charming for dinner.

Cool location inside a retired train station. The food and wine were great. They do gluten-free, a plus for me. Had the spaghetti with smoked salmon. Very tasty.

Fantastic hosts, when meeting Ben & Vanessa for the first time (several years ago) we were treated as if we were old friends. We visit Spean Bridge annually & eat here at least twice during our stay. The food is excellent, all freshly cooked upon ordering, the atmosphere is second to none, always a good night out. This is a... More

We sat at the bar before dinner and soaked up the local atmosphere - families out for a Friday night at the pub/restaurant. As Americans, it was a nice experience and cultural immersion. The dining room is pleasant as was the service. Our food was good and the entire evening was a pleasure.

We had pre booked at the Old Station, as we had an overnight stop on route to the Isle of Skye. We were not disappointed, a varied menu, in great characterful surroundings. The food was excellent and served piping hot, just what we needed. I would definitely eat here again if in the area.

A very warm welcome and friendly staff at this old railway station. The food is ok, the decor could be improved upon but with not a lot of competition we struggled to find decent places to eat without going high end.
