At the Old Station Restaurant & Bar we offer great locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Dine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in the unique setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. We are located at Spean Bridge station where the Commandos began their training during the Second World War. Relax beside the fire in our public bar and enjoy local real ales. We are the only bar in the village serving real ale on draught. We also have a good selection of malt whisky, Scottish gins and wine. We have a gluten-free menu which is available on request. Children are very welcome ... And we even have a special menu for the wee ones!

Great place

Party of nine and what a great meal, very very good Chef no complaints there, one of our party had a Birthday and they made a cake for us as we were walking the GGW. Staff were great and what a range of whiskies. Great place to eat.

The owners have converted the old railway station into a charming restaurant. They have saved all of the romantic trappings and added great food and warm friendly service to create a truly unique dining experience. The food was excellent and staff so friendly that we really felt like old friends. In fact, I found myself shaking hands with the owner... More

First visit there and I have to say its a great place with an excellent choice of wines, beers, soft drinks and Scottish gins, we were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the doors, chatted to the friendly staff as we had pre dinner drinks at the bar and although they were busy they took the... Wonderful place. Nice atmosphere, good beers and wines, roaring fire in the bar, friendly staff, delicious but unfussy menu with good choices for each course, nice view of Fort William sleeper train coming in from our platform side table, good for carb-loading on the Great Glen Way! Very highly recommended

Quirky restaurant in an old station building with friendly staff. Kids enjoyed great burgers with generous portions. Not much choice for vegetarians and the Vegetable Provençal was disappointing.

Had a meal at the Old Station Restaurant for my Husband’s 50th. This place is really different as it an old Victorian railway station and overlooks the railway line, a train even pulled in while we were eating. We booked in advance as the restaurant has limited opening at this time of year, but it was worth waiting for. We... More

i took my father back here after first visiting fifteen years ago and we weren't disappointed. We made to feel very welcome and had a lovely meal. The location is fantastic, the station is still used and it's fun to watch the trains pull in and out while you are eating! The Old Station has a warm cosy feel about... More
