Description: At the Old Station Restaurant & Bar we offer great locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Dine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in the unique setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. We are located at Spean Bridge station where the Commandos began their training during the Second World War. Relax beside the fire in our public bar and enjoy local real ales. We are the only bar in the village serving real ale on draught. We also have a good selection of malt whisky and wine. Children are very welcome ... And we even have a special menu for the wee ones!

The Old Station is a delightful restaurant, with friendly, attentive staff and very good, reasonably priced food, as well as an extensive collection of different gins! The restaurant itself is the waiting room of the old station (funnily enough) and the working platform is outside. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone travelling in the area, it's unpretentious and very... More

The setting is lovely and cosy - being the old station waiting rooms. We had a drink in the bar before sitting at our table and browsed the menu that had lots of local produce. They also have a fantastic selection of Scottish Gin's - I was working my way through most of them during the evening. The portions are... More

Greeted by very friendly and attentive staff. Food was fresh and home cooked. Haggis parcels with sweet chilli dip were to die for followed by Jacobean chicken - served with haggis and a creamy whiskey sauce - beautiful! Topped all this off with a naughty mango and coconut cheesecake. Lush meal after a full day walking

As one of a team of five cyclists who had escaped from Coire Glas for the evening, we were more than impressed with both the reception and the food here. The host welcomed us from the kitchen and joined us later in playing the guitar with one of our party. The constant mickey taking by the barman over our choice... More

We have visited this area several times in the last 5years and after our first meal here have always returned. Food cooked to perfection is the order of the day here! Not only the unusual surroundings but lovely staff and a chef who cooks the best steaks we have ever tasted. The bar is also well stocked and if you... More

There was a very good choice of menu and the food was both delicious and very well presented. The service was attentive but never intrusive. We had a most enjoyable meal in well appointed and comfortable surroundings. Although the restaurant was busy, our meal was not rushed with just the right interval between courses. Highly recommended - would definitely eat... More

By accident we arrived at the Old Station when we Walked the Great Glenn way in 2010. We were very hungry and had a delicious meal at a good price. The place is fabulous. I at once felt at home and that's thanks to the people who work there.. I've been back there twice in 2012 and 2014 and it's... More
