At the Old Station Restaurant & Bar we offer great locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Dine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in the unique setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. We are located at Spean Bridge station where the Commandos began their training during the Second World War. Relax beside the fire in our public bar and enjoy local real ales. We are the only bar in the village serving real ale on draught. We also have a good selection of malt whisky, Scottish gins and wine. We have a gluten-free menu which is available on request. Good food served in a friendly atmosphere

Ate last night at The Old Station Restaurant in Spean Bridge, which is next to the working railway - the Caledonian Sleeper passed our window seats during the evening! Great room with lots of railway photographs connected to the station. Enjoyed a friendly drink in the bar before dinner. We were... read more

We had a super meal in the Old Station Restaurant. The attention to detail of the meal was first class. The restaurant itself was set as it should look as an old railway station albeit the line is still used.

My husband and I had dinner at The Old Station. We were greeted by a friendly you woman who had us wait for our table in the bar. We each had a pint of their house ale--it's much tastier than a lot of draught ales that I've tasted in Scotland. Once seated in the dining room, my husband ordered the... More

What a little gem of a place!quite a novel establishment, a former train station turned into a restaurant. The staff are brilliant, warm and friendly and very welcoming. The chef is a genius in the kitchen, creating fine dining quality food as fast as any fast food outlet! The prices are reasonable, the dining area is comfortable, the staff are... More

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here whilst on a relaxing weekend in the Highlands . The main room was taken up with a large crowd of ladies on a girls night out from Fort William. The previous night they had , had a whole crowd of Firefighters in so whilst my wife was miffed about missing them... More

We had dinner here... while walking the great glen way. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. The place appears to be quite popular as it was almost full on a weekday and we had to book our table an hour in advance. While you are waiting for your food you can entertain yourself with the notices... More

Good food and drink. Nice surrounding and decor near the old railway station. Only 6km away from the great glen way walk and very near to commando memorial. Friendly service.

Excellent food, great selection of scotch in bar, picturesque location. Local color added by guitar player in the bar. Restaurant seems to be local hangout and few tourists noticed. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Two of us ate at the Old Station and loved the food and the ambiance created by the sensitive restoration of the old station building. The food was excellent and the waitresses were efficient and friendly without being overpowering. We retired to the bar where there was some local real ale and a selection of fine single malts to tempt... More

Managed to get the last table last Saturday thanks to Glen at Spean Lodge making our reservation. Lost count of the number of people who were turned away as the restaurant was full so booking is a must. Great service very friendly. Enjoyed all 3 courses very much reasonable prices.
