Almost late...but not in old station restaurant

Came almost late, 5 mins before closing and they have been very kind to serve a food for us. Food was excellent, service even better. And shoking think was when they served the food for different table like 20 mins after us. Very appreciated. Thank you.

Ate at the Old Station Restaurant in July 2015 while walking the Great Glen Way. Had read great reviews so decided to try it. Had a wonderful meal. Best salmon I've ever tasted! My husband's chicken with haggis in pepper sauce was also delicious. Everything was great and Ben and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming, delivering... More

The food in the Old Station Restaurant is of a good standard and includes plenty of local ingredients such as haggis and hot smoked salmon. I noticed that many of the other diners were locals rather than tourists, which is always a good sign. Certainly we enjoyed our meal and found the service friendly and attentive. The thing that really... More

We ate at this restaurant while walking the Great Glen Way in June 2015. The food was very good and fresh and the service attentive and freindly. Overall the restaurant represents pretty good value for money.

We decided to try The Old Station after searching Tripadvisor reviews for the area...once again fellow Tripadvisors, thanks! I called in the late afternoon to see if a table was available and we were lucky enough to get a sitting. We were warmly welcomed and seated next to a window and, yes it is an old station. We started with... More

This restaurant is first class, but a very popular place so would suggest you book earlier in the day. We hadn't on our first night so we had to eat elsewhere. The food is great, menu gives plenty of choice something for everyone. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth a visit, but have a small lunch... More

Staying just outside Spean Bridge for a night on the return leg of our journey to Skye we'd found this little restaurant on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. We took a chance being a Thursday evening and didn't book. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table but we sat in the bar until our table... More

We were in Spean Bridge for a night and the eating options looked depressing. We didn't want the fine dining option, but wanted good food in a pleasant place with atmosphere. The Old Station saved us. It was just what we were looking for - tasty food in a lovely setting. The restoration and decor of the Old Station was... More

Good food, pleasant and helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. You'll probably need to book to get a table at The Old Station but its worth doing that. The starters were generous and the main fettucini dishes, including a gluten free option for one of our party, were so tasty. Simple dishes beautifully cooked and flavoured.
