Very cosy, friendly bar

On my visit I was only in the bar, which is called the Cova Inn, and it's a lovely little boozer. It seems like a real local, and I wouldn't imagine they get many strangers calling in, like myself. From the moment I entered, they made me feel welcome, and when I was having difficulty connection to... read more

Décor is very pleasing and the place is clean. The food was lovely as an early evening dinner. A nice place. The staff were very pleasant but did seem a little confused and were unable to answer some simple questions. Saying that I would return again and with a little more communication between the bar and restaurant staff the place... More

I am a regular at the back shed and love their pizzas, but they have introduced this new menu which is quiet poor. One pasta dish, over priced steaks, no fresh vegetables greasy selection of finger food. I had the roasted vegetables with sirloin steak, (which was over cooked & tasteless) I was expecting lovely fresh veg but got what... More

We decided to visit this place following a recommendation of a local and arrived between half five and six o'clock on a Wednesday evening, at which time the restaurant had just a few patrons. We were greeted and sat promptly and offered drinks, we then had to wait a considerable time for the order to be taken and even longer... More

This used to be super but it's not as good now , menu is ok but not as varied as it was . When we were in recently they had misspelt two words on the board ! They used to have an early bird special but it has gone too .

I have been to this little restaurant so many times.... With friends, parents, my husband and with our kids. It was def our place to go for good honest food at a reasonable price! Not anymore. We went there last week for an early bite as a treat with our kids.... And never again. The menu has changed.... Perhaps they... More

We popped in at 5.30 on a Saturday night hoping to get a table - as they don't take bookings for less than 8 patrons. We got a table but were told we "would need to be out by 7", which was fine as we had somewhere else to be. On perusing the menu, which isn't massive but has a... More

Unlike another reviewer I always struggled to pick something on the menu as it was mainly pizza and I don't particularly like pizza and their other choices were limited. I heard that the menu had changed so decided to give it a go again with my other half. Yes the menu is certainly more varied than what it was and... More

When visiting a new town finding somewhere to eat can be a real struggle however thanks to the trip advisor reviews we decided to try out The Back Shed. Upon arrival the restaurant was tucked away between shops and stood out from the rest. Downstairs the bar area was very pleasant and then upstairs the dining area certainly matched this.... More
