Our last night in Ireland found us staying at an airport hotel, but looking for something a little off property to eat. What we found was this excellent pub about two miles from our hotel. I started with the duck liver pate, which was excellent. I next had the rib eye steak, which was also prepared excellently and was very... More

Went here with my father today and had a superb Sunday lunch. We had booked in advance and were shown straight to a table in the sun room area which although there being no sun was a nice bright area. Our order was taken relatively quickly, the menu had a nice variety of choice and not just the normal beef/lamb/chicken... More

Having read reviews of Ballyrobin Lodge we decided to lunch there en route from the airport. On arrival, the receptionist/manager could not have been less welcoming - with what can only be described as a scowl on her face, followed by a look of disappointment at seeing customers! Not a good start. We were directed to wait in the bar... More

Called on 29/07/14 on the way to Belfast international airport, we were dropping my brother and his wife off and decided we would call for something to eat as we had done before. Whilst the restaurant itself is very nice, the menu had changed completely, there was no light snacks as previous I.e pannini's, sandwiches, it was either a 2... More

We arrived early and were taken into the conservatory which was quite hot and our waitress opened windows and the door and asked was everything ok. She took our drink order which arrived promptly. Our food order was taken and my wife and... More

I visited here with my family during lunchtime for my fathers birthday , the menu seems to be quite overcomplicated, it's trying so hard to be posh (hence the extortionate prices) unfortunately it doesn't delivery on quality! For starters the service wasn't great, waited 10 mins for waitress to take drinks orders and a further 10 to take food order.... More

I was part of a group of 11 people. We ordered from the set menu. Good choice available. Food was well presented and very tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful... They even provided a pair of glasses to help me pay the bill! I will return!

Full of local people out for fine dining - judge a restaurant by the number of local people who drive here - and this restaurant fulfills that critierion totally. Food served quickly and cooked to perfection.
