It has been about 5 years since I have been to the Ballyrobin, then it was a lovely cosy country pub, with 6 rooms. Now it has been enlarged to 21 rooms and a treatment room. The things that has remained constant, are the fantastic food and excellent service. We called in late morning after some business in Belfast, and... More

A fantastic menu, all locally sourced, including a big selection for vegetarians too. There is nothing I disliked about the food or the restaurant. The breakfasts are very reasonable and the dinner is exquisite. You could be sitting in a Michelin star restaurant, it's that good! If you're staying close by, treat yourself and book a table...

We were staying locally and chose the restaurant as a result of good reviews on Trip Advisor. The food was excellent, tasted very nice, was well presented and, what really made it for us, the staff were extremely efficient but also genuinely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. It is just a shame that is 200 miles... More

Went late on a Sunday afternoon, we hadn't booked were able to get a table in the busy restaurant. Service was excellent, staff were pleasant and helpful. Sunday roast was probably the best I've ever had, but what really stood out was the desert CHOCOLATE AND MACADAMIA NUT BROWNIE!!! It was the best ever! Will definitely be back.

This was our last and best meal in an eleven day trip to Ireland and Scotland. This was a busy Saturday night and apparently reservations are almost required although we were accommodated. Every member of the staff was most pleasant, Our dinner, a shared rack of lamb was absolutely perfect with mild and tasty seasoning and delicious thin gravy. What... More
