I've drank here on a number of occasions but never eaten here until now and I'll be back to sample some more. A good selection of typical pub/restaurant type food is offered up in plentiful portions by friendly and welcoming staff. Many if the meals state they are home made and I saw and roasted nothing to doubt that. Prices... More

We went to this pub as we visited Upnor Castle and the pub looks very nice from outside. Also, it has been awarded "Pub of the year". However we found out the award was for its real ale and cider when we arrived. It certainly couldn't be for the food! Inside the pub was an immediate disappointment. Paper table cloths... More

This is my local, they serve excellent food and a large selection of beers from all over the world, including some excellent local ales.

Nicely placed on the Saxon Shore Walk and in the GBG for good reason. Fine range of ales. We had just had perfectly good basket meals served, but then noticed huge, fresh sandwiches which didn't appear on the menu. Wish we'd seen them. Very friendly

Came here for lunch, the food was fab and portion size generous. Sunday roast beef was the best we've had in the area, and we have visited all the local pubs in lower and upper Upnor. If your looking for real ales then The Kings Arms also has a fantastic selection and the staff are happy to recommend a pint... More

We booked a table for six to celebrate all our March birthdays with our four friends. The Kings Arms always has a great red wine on offer, and choices of locally brewed beer as well as specials. The food is good value for money and freshly cooked. Everything is beautifully served and cooked to perfection. Great place, good company, enjoyable... More
